Review: Love this pattern! - I bought this pattern/package even though there were some seriously negative reviews. I’ve found it very intuitive. The pattern printed on the material includes a color key. The colors on the material are *not* the same as the finished cross-stitch. The reasoning is that the colors are very close (several shades of brown that are very close in shade for instance). Because of this a picture of the final work is also included with all of the matching colors. If you aren’t sure about a shade from the printed material, you can easily cross reference. The design is beautiful. The gloss isn’t the highest standard. It is not smooth enough, but so far that’s been ok. All of the thread DMC numbers are listed if you want to replace the thread with a higher quality floss. I will add a photo of the finished work when I’ve, well, finished it!

I bought this pattern/package even though there were some seriously negative reviews. I’ve found it very intuitive. The pattern printed on the material includes a color key. The colors on the material are *not* the same as the finished cross-stitch. The reasoning is that the colors are very close (several shades of brown that are very close in shade for instance). Because of this a picture of the final work is also included with all of the matching colors. If you aren’t sure about a shade from the printed material, you can easily cross reference.
