CAP Barbell 1/2-Inch High Density Exercise Yoga Mat with Strap | Multiple Options

I am a 54-year-old woman with multiple issues dealing with my weight, knees, and hips. The support of this particular mat is thick enough that there is no pain when being on my knees or lying down. It does not pinch your pressure points, causing pain as a thinner mat would. I am very pleased with the quality of this mat; it feels durable and I do not worry about my flopping around and destroying it while I learn the proper positions I need for my exercises. The length and width is sufficient for my 5 foot 11 inch height and extra girth. I was not looking for anything in particular in terms of design or color, as I prefer functionality, and this is to be used at home as a beginner mat while I start my exercise program.

I got this for yoga practice and it is so soft and thick. Much better quality than another mats I’ve had.

I've been using this for a little while now and feel I know about how this is going to go. Pros: - Light weight material (can also be a con depending on use - I haven't had it long enough to know how long it will hold up) - Carrying straps are very nice - Given the light material it is easy to roll up and put the straps on and set it off to the side when not in use - It is better than sitting on the floor to stretch - It does what I expect it to do for the price Potential cons (I don't think I have had it long enough to give any solid cons, just opinions) - I only have 1 concern that the material could tear or rip if I were to do any active movements on it, like a burpee, jumping jacks or other similar movements, although to be fair I don't think it was designed for that purpose, it seems in my opinion that it is designed for use exactly how it is marketed Yoga / stretching and for that purpose it has a good amount of softness, comfort and design at the right size for that particular use.

After about a week of use, it works as it should with a good cushion, but has already started to show signs of wear and tear.

Great quality and love the band that goes around it when you aren't using it. Easy to transport, comfy for yoga or exercise. I even use it for my baby when he is in his jumper so his feet aren't hitting the hard tile.

Love this mat! I use it for yoga/stretching. The thickness is perfect for the body, and doesn't leave you on pain like you would be using a regular thin mat.

I needed a thick mat for Physical Therapy exerciases that are mainly having me lie on the ground. I had a thin yoga mat that didn't provide any padding. This pad is about a half inch thick and works very well. I am able to complete my PT exercises with a lot mor comfort. Look at all the options and you won't find a better value.

It is good yoga mat,which is soft,comfortable and durable.Been using this for months and it doesnt show any signs of usage. Perfect as day 1 and is super light weight to be carried along. Also,it is easy to fold and store which makes it an even better deal for the price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exercise mat.
