Has exact same storage space as my previous Ipod, so I would say NOT SSD.

Does anyone know how to get this unlocked? i've tried just about everything. someone at apple recommended i set it back to factory reset. didn't work.

I had to reset mine three times before it finally did it. Once it did it, it works like a charm. So if you've only tried it once, try it a couple of times. But if you've tried it a couple of times, I can't don't know what to tell you

How are you adding music?

Open Itunes>Plug Ipod into back of computer>click the File drop down menu> click Devices> click Sync.............. I think that would work, my Itunes was kind of old so it was hard to figure out how to sync the entire music library. Also, sometimes It syncs(adds music) the moment you plug it in. Hope that helps!
