Great budget watch and good quality
Nice quality watch for a great price. Watch for sale and get one. Bought for my dad and he likes it. Large watch and looks more expensive than it is and also quality craftsmanship

FOR THE PRICE, AN EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR A CHRONOGRAPH WATCH...
Although I purchased this watch for $11 less during the 1st quarter of 2023, I would still recommend it for someone who wants a quality multifunction chronograph for a relatively low purchase price. I'm not very fond of bracelet watch bands, so I immediately replaced it with a quick release palamino tan leather watch band. With the black dial, it would have the proper aesthetic contrast with just about any color leather watch band. Mine looks spectacular. Most chronographs at this price point do not feature a 1/20th second stop watch feature. This watch has that. Another exceptional feature is the second hand reset hack. Each time you completely extend the stem, the second hand zeros out. For those of you who have learned how to utilize a slide rule, this watch features one that is functional and attractive with the stem located at the 08:00 position. It does pay, in the long run, to disengage the watch mechanism when storing it. It does save the battery. I stored a watch for 4 years without using it and when re-engaged, the battery had plenty of energy left. Sturdy, accurate, and attractive...this CASIO Edifice watch is a bargain at the current price.

An amazing value for the money!
As a collector with watches ranging from Swatch models, Citizens (mid-tier), Seiko models ranging from entry Seiko 5's, to a few Prospex, Presages, and one GS, several Orient models, and of course three Timex models, I have to chuckle at the value for money you get with many Casio watches. I have six altogether with this purchase and they really do nail the fundamentals. The bracelet is inline with the quality you would find on some Seiko models costing three times as much. Yes, it's a bit flimsy and light making a song of its own when you put the watch on or take it off, but at this price point, it's a very well made bracelet overall and aesthetically pleasing to be sure. With a mixture of brushed and polished edges, the oyster bracelet (with a hint of engineer style center links) is very attractive as is the watch entirely. And it's a cinch to adjust the links. No pin and collar system, just friction pins. As a few have mentioned, the watch looks MUCH more expensive than it is and it's a perfect weight as well. The case design is definitely unique between the lugs. A polished and brushed lip accenting the bezel and dial. It's something unique to this watch out of the forty-five I have in my collection. A small detail but one that made me smile. The lume isn't stellar as far as brightness goes, but it is sufficient and it lasts a decent amount of time. It's a pleasing turquoise blue. Similar to a few of my Citizen's, though not quite as bright. 100 meters water resistance and I would be confident in that with the watch's screw down crown. Another feature not always found on watches costing much more. Suitable for swimming of course, but do NOT depress the pushers while underwater. I would also never shower with ANY of my watches regardless of their rating. Hot shower water (or any extended exposure to heated water) and the cooler air found inside of the watch are not a good combination. It's senseless to shower with a watch in any case. Ocean and pool water are what they're designed for. I'm not sure what processes Casio uses to sell watches at the prices they do, but I'm glad I've been able to benefit from it. As many others have. This watch could easily be sold for $150 more than the price I paid and would be worth it. Very pleased with this purchase!

Very good watch for the price
The watch looks great and fits my very skinny wrist remarkably well, This is the second watch I have purchased off Amazon and in both cases the postage was fast and the item was well packaged (not always the case when you live in Australia). The only issue I have with the watch is to do with the slide rule. I realise it is very small but that is not my issue (I have fairly good eyesight). Unfortunately, the alignment of the two scales are not perfect, and so results can be a little off (disappointing because the slide rule was one of the main reasons I bought this watch). However, after looking at a lot of the other slide rule watches, I found that this was a common problem and that slight alignment errors should be expected (even the much more expensive watches don't align perfectly). At first I was quite disappointed, but I realised that the alignment error wasn't as bat as I first thought, and that watch slide rules aren't meant to have the accuracy of traditional slide rules. It still works great for quickly getting accurate estimates of various calculations like multiplications, divisions, percentages, conversions, distance/speed/time, etc. The chronograph works great and the bracelet and clasp are good. I attached a cheap watch tool kit to the purchase and used it to resize the bracelet in less than 10 minutes. This was cheaper and easier than taking it to a watch shop. Overall this is a good, functional watch and I am happy with it.

Fantastic Value, Fantastic Watch; One Caveat
Update: I noticed that some of the other reviewers had an issue with the accuracy of the slide rule, so I decided to check mine closely with several calculations. Mine was the same, very slightly inaccurate. Multiplying 30X40, as one other reviewer did, yielded a result of 1210 on my watch. An error of just under 1%, but an error nonetheless. The question then becomes: how important is that margin of error (especially once you know it exists and can account for it). In my case, it matters very little. But I only use the watch for quick estimates. True, my Seiko is dead-on accurate. But it is also far less legible for me. The customer will have to decide for themselves if this watch will suit their specific needs. In any case, I still think the build, heft, good functionality, and overall presence of the watch far exceed its price. It is still a great value. Original Review: This watch is impressive; it rivals any in my collection. It is large, very legible, and incredibly well-made. It looks far more expensive than it is. You will probably want to change the band. I did, tried a bunch, but found it popped with a brown and black NATO style band. This one is from Bertucci. One piece of advice: buy an E6B flight computer to learn how to use the circular slide rule (all slide rule watches are based on this ingenious device, $10-$30). The functionality of the watch will be far more fun.

Slide Rule Bezels Rule!
If you are a watch nerd then you will love this watch or if you are just looking for a dependable everyday watch. I am not a pilot but for me the slide rule bezel is an amazing feature. While I don’t use this to calculate flight data, I do use it for simple multiplication, division, ratio, percentages plus more. The whole logarithmic scale implemented in the bezel is an arithmetic jewel. The lume on the outer indexes is almost nonexistent but is pretty good on the main hands. I do have some gripes which are that the watch finish is super polished and vibes “cheap” but definitely the overall look is appealing, the stopwatch second hand is a bit loose but doesn’t stray more than half a second, the internal slide bezel has a bit too much tolerance so it moves a bit outside of the symetrical circle but with all of that said I love this watch and for the money it’s a deal. My wrist is 7 1/4 and this watch is pushing the limits of being too big but is still super comfortable. The face is quite busy so swapping to a NATO band is definitely the way to go and only adds to the comfort level. Great watch and hope to get many years use out of it.

Great Watch for those who read instructions
this is a great watch and fully functional as an aviator watch, numbers of the rotating bezel are a bit small, but they are readable to people with normal sight. it has stop watch function and it looks, feels, and works great. I noticed some of the other reviews commented on the crown either breaking or being loose, well ... this is normal, its not broken and its normal to stay loose until you screw it on (the original status of the crown is screwed into its place in a way that you can't snap it out, you have to unscrew it first then snap it out one click to set up the date or two clicks to set up the time, then after you finish you have to snap it back in then screw it clockwise as far as it can go, the manual say that the watch is not water resistant if its not screwed on tightly). that explains most of the complaints in the other reviews, obviously the other users just didn't know that so they either broke the crown or left it loose. the manual is very short and doesn't explain any of the uses of the rotating bezel, but you can easily find them online. the case in which the watch came in is very cheap and looks like crap. be ready to remove one or two links from the bracelet unless your wrist in huge. the price is great for the function. also it came already set up to the correct time and date.
