AFM/DFM Disabler & Auto Start/Stop Eliminator for 2005-2024 and Select 2025 GM Trucks, SUVs & Cars

I does exactly what it is supposed to do. It was easy to set up. I installed it on a 2022 silverado ltz with a10 speed transmission 5.3 liter motor. It runs smoother than it ever has. The transmission is smoother too. I guess the truck is not fighting itself to figure out what gear it needs for how many cylinders it is using. I had to learn how to drive it again, it has so much power. The stop and go is locked out. You have ability to turn both features on and off in the app. the stop/go and and the fuel management. I emailed customer service with some questions, about the lights and battery drain. They where very prompt and curious, with their help. They assured me it shuts off after a short time of not running. It is Quality product, not a quirky piece of junk. The bad news: Gas milage dropped by 3 mpg around town and 2mpg on the interstate. My mileage gage, looks like a scoreboard counting down at a ball game, it counts down so quick at a drive through. Just a wild guess, but you could burn a 1/4 of a gallon of gas waiting on a Big Mac. Or so it seems. I pulled my 9000 pound camper and got about the same as always 9 mpg. I love the way the truck runs, but I am not sure I can afford it. My neighbor is a mechanic and he said, I can pay a little at a time now or plan on paying a lot for motor repairs/replacement in the near future. He paid a lot more than I did, to get his older chevy reprogrammed to lock out fuel management. I am keeping it. I need the truck to last.

This is working as designed in my 2025 Sierra 1500 with the 6.2. I can have it set to completely disable both cylinder deactivation and auto start/stop or choose which I want. Also will read engine codes if I ever need it too.

Works as advertised. My husband and I have a 2020 and a 2022 C8 Corvette. It works perfectly on both. The key is to do it in the correct order as it says in the instructions. 1) download the app 2) plug in the Carbyte 3) start the vehicle 4 search for any firmware updates and install using the app on your phone 4) ready to drive. The Carbyte will only start working once the car has reached at least 167 degrees. Its a great product and the only one we have found to actually bypass the AFM on a C8. Range and other devices on here do not work.

Does NOT work on 2025 GMC Yukon with the 6.2L engine. It’s easy to install and the phone app shows it’s linked & connected to my vehicle. However, the engine still shuts off at every stoplight and it does not remain in V8 mode. It will drop down to four cylinders when the active fuel management is active. Disappointed but luckily it wasn’t that expensive now I just have something that’s useless to me.

Works great on my 2026 Sierra 1500 6.2L a10. After researching AFM/DFM disablers that also override the stop/start I was between this product and a competitor from Range. Emailed the tech support to ask if it would work on my truck since it wasn't listed, and received a prompt reply, but they weren't sure and didn't have a timeline for testing. I decided to gamble and it seems to work fine. As others have mentioned, there was a noticeable drop in MPG after disabling the AFM/DFM. Makes sense, and I'm willing to pay it in exchange for the power return and the theoretical engine protection.

When a product is shipped out, in my opinion, the firmware should be fully updated. Not this product. You must first download the app and then update the firmware on the device. We'll, that doesn't really make the app "optional" does it? In my case, it didn't seem to be working correctly until the firmware was fully updated. Customer service is responsive which is a big plus, but only via email. No, you can't call anyone for customer support. It's pretty obvious the device works as it it should for the auto-stop disabler which is worth the price just for that aspect. However, on my 24 Silverado 5.3 I could never feel when the cylinders deactivated so I can't actually tell if this product works to prevent them from deactivating. The only way to tell is by looking at the app which tells you the cylinder deactivation is disabled. Another reviewer mentioned they could tell the cylinder deactivation was disabled because their gauge no longer hits 99 mpg when driving down hill, but mine still does. Just drove a 400 mile trip and noticed no difference in fuel mileage. Overall, seems like a good product. Easy installation and good customer service. For this price however, I just think it should work correctly right out of the box.

Was was very skeptical about using this I’ve tried other ones but they did not work but when I found this one, I tried it out and it’s been working great since it’s been about a week and it’s worked great I have it on my 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 WT with a 5.3 motor with a 10 speed transmission the truck sounds better runs better shifts better and feels a lot more responsive and my truck stay in V8 mode and idels 1 million times better

this product was suppose to fit in my year truck,clearly stated this in the pictures of the product,after i received it and plugged it in it says not compatible with vehicle and now the seller wont respond to any emails and i have no way of contacting them,so im out $250 .Do not buy this product unless your willing to lose ur money
