Review: Painful at First… But They Really Work - Wearing these for the first time definitely feels a bit like acupuncture for your feet. The massage points can feel quite intense initially, especially if you’re not used to that type of pressure. However, once your feet adjust, they genuinely feel incredibly relieving and refreshing to use. I usually wear them for around 15 minutes in the morning or after a long hard shift, and they really seem to bring my feet back to life afterwards. They’ve been especially helpful for tired aching feet and general foot fatigue, and the massage effect feels surprisingly effective. Overall, uncomfortable at first but absolutely worth sticking with because they genuinely work well.

The first time wearing it felt like I was stepping on pebbles. Eventually after a few days I got used to wearing it and it was helping with the pain. It is straight forward and easy to use. It definitely takes some getting used to but it helped me in my ankle pain and healing process and every now and then I wear it just to get my blood flowing as I noticed it helped me sleep as well. Just need to wear it up to 20 mins when worn and weird thing is after a while it will feel like you are wearing normal sliders. Try it for yourself and see. Do you like pain? A lot of pain? Then these shoes might be the perfect answer to your needs. Though the adage rings true, “No pain, no gain”. When walking on these ‘intense’ is an understatement, but the health benefits are off the scale. First, take your time. You need not be a hero and walk in these for hours. Minutes are more than enough. As the tension in your feet improves, you can increase the time you spend wearing them. In time, your health will improve. Also, unless you are on a mission, couple these shoes with a decent pair of thick socks as you’ll still get the benefits, but the journey will be a lot more comfortable. They design the plastic pins to hit all parts of your body through your foot. Have a headache? Wear these shoes? Have a painful back? Wear these shoes? Have an X.. (as in an ailment, not a partner) wear these shoes! Your feet will be far happier for it, too. The pins are spring-loaded so they will adjust and adapt to the weight of your entire body and get what I would call an internal massage. The quality of the shoe is superb, excellent materials, well made and robust. While different, and uncomfortable at first please try these shoes, if your health is suffering you will notice the difference in weeks, just persist, take it easy, set goals and reap the health benefits.

Slippers are well made and the velcro strap allows you to adjust to suit you. In terms of the comfort levels, they are the not the most comfortable shoes. I'm wearing them for 15 min a day, which is the recommended time. Let's see if it makes a difference to the pain I have.
