The build quality of this Japanese floor mat is exceptional. There was no weird chemical smell upon opening, and it fully expanded to its shape after being left out overnight. At 3.5 inches thick, it offers the perfect balance of firmness and comfort. Even though I ordered the Queen size, it’s surprisingly light at only 16 lbs. When not in use, it rolls up easily for storage, making it a huge space-saver. The microfiber fabric with fine texture stitching gives it a premium look, and it stays cool throughout the night. Overall, this is an excellent floor mattress.

I purchased this to add extra cushioning to our sofa bed, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for hosting guests. We had family visiting, and they slept on the sofa bed with this futon on top, absolutely no complaints! They said it was very comfortable and slept great all night. I even tried it myself one night just to test it out, and I was pleasantly surprised. It adds the perfect amount of support and softness without feeling too thick or bulky. It completely upgrades the feel of the mattress underneath. If you have a sofa bed and want to make it guest-ready (or just more comfortable overall), this is a simple and affordable solution. This mattress is well made. The stitching is almost like quilting, which gives it a nice, not too firm feel, while providing good support and comfort!! It is foldable (in half) to store more easily. Has no chemical smell either. It’s great to have for guests if you don’t have a standard bed. It’s also nice to have extra lounging on the floor for sleepovers, movie nights, etc. Good price for this quality!

It was a nice quality just too thin for me. It was easy to open and fold to put away. Its size was nice too, I believe I paid around $60~ or so for it and I think it was a good price for the nice quality. I returned it pretty quickly so unfortunately I don’t have any pictures.

I bought this futon floor mattress hoping for something comfortable, easy to move, and supportive and it exceeded my expectations. It’s surprisingly plush for being a floor mattress, but still firm enough to feel supportive. I’ve used it for naps, movie nights, and even when my kids want to camp out in my room, and it’s held up great. It folds up easily and doesn’t take up much space, which is huge for me. The material feels durable, and it fluffs back up quickly after being rolled. If you're looking for a practical, comfy mattress without the bulk or price of a traditional one, this is definitely worth it.

The Japanese Floor Mat is very well made and once you open the mat give it some time to expand and you will be impressed as to how soft and comfortable it is. It is not heavy so it can be moved around with ease and it folds up easy when not in use.

Came in a vaccum seal roll. Was very easy to setup. After two days expanded to the full 3.5 inches thick. Feels thick and looks great on the floor as well as on a mattress. Can serve for multiple purposes, floor bed or mattress topper or a futon. Can store easily under your bed or in a closet. Will work great for when guests are staying over. Must have for any one that needs a spare bed or just a backup.

I got this futon and it’s super comfy and not flat or too soft. It’s got the right firmness—solid enough to give me support without feeling flat. The foam is soft enough to cushion me, but still keeps me lifted off the floor. My back feels protected from the hard floor, so I don’t wake up stiff. The stitching is neat, and the fabric feels strong and well-made. It puffed up quickly after I unrolled it and had no weird smell. I’ve been sleeping better since I put it down—it’s a real improvement over my old setup. I gave it 5 stars right away and haven’t regretted buying it. It feels like a bargain for what you get—I’d pay way more for this level of comfort. It seems durable and stays in good shape night after night.

It’s so comfy just what I was expecting! Worth the price. When you opened it will look bad but give it time it will expand and become a smooth. And when you start sleeping on it’ll even expand more! I got size queen and two ppl can sleep nicely.

Was worried when we got it cuz it looked all wrinkled and lumpy .. see photos ... then got online and found out that it needs time to fluff up on its own ... which it did in 2 days Very comfortable to sit on .. haven't tried it for an all-nighter yet.. will update when I do.

I absolutely love this mattress. It is perfect for people who prefer sleeping on the floor or having a firmer mattress. It comes in extremely handy when friends or family spend the night. Everyone who has used it found it comfortable. We normally use this mattress on top of a carpet, but it is still comfortable when it’s directly on hardwood. It took a couple of days to fluff up after I opened the package, but that’s to be expected. I would buy this mattress again without hesitation. One of my favourite purchases.
