Great keyboard for everyday use, including non-gaming uses
I got this because there seemed to be a dearth of decent non-gaming wired keyboards. I don't really care for the gaming aesthetic, but most of the non-gaming keyboards were either wireless, which I didn't want, or cheap and nasty budget options. I wanted something wired and with decent build quality, but that doesn't break the bank. The build quality seems good. It feels very solid and the buttons have good haptic feedback, but are quiet with it.It's comfortable to use. I do a lot of typing and some light gaming. I can use it for several hours with no issues. The layout is just a standard UK keyboard layout with no silly gimmicks. The integrated wrist rest is completely pointless. Fortunately, it doesn't get in the way and I'm able to use my memory foam wrist rest without any problems.I don't bother using the backlight. It automatically switches on when my computer turns on, but it's quick and easy to turn off. One thing that I will say in favour of the backlight is that it doesn't require the installation of software to control it. Too many gaming keyboards require this, and it often causes issues. Instead, the backlight is controlled by several FN key combos that are elucidated in the manual. This is a much better way of doing things. It just shows up on my system as a standard USB keyboard without any additional drivers needed, so it works seamlessly with Linux. If you're looking for an affordable, good quality wired keyboard for gaming and non-gaming uses, I thoroughly recommend this.

Attractive keyboard with a comfortable touch
I am not a gamer so just wanted a keyboard for typing with multimedia keys that was responsive and comfortable to use over a long period and so far, I have to say that this model definitely fits the bill. The RGB lighting settings have good flexibility whereby you should find a static or moving rainbow pattern combination that suits your mood although it can be switched off completely if required. Alternatively, if you simply want your keyboard backlit with a single colour, you can choose from the seven options. The brightness is adjustable and the overall effect looks attractive with easy to see characters. I find the soft key feedback very satisfying in that they don’t require too much depression which allows for a faster typing speed but at the same time have a positive touch with minimal noise. The ergonomic design results in the keys being stepped at a satisfying typing angle (7°). The all-metal panel provides the keyboard with good weight and there are additional rubber pads on the foldable kickstands so that it remains where you want it on your desk. The laser-engraved crater-style keycaps are designed to resist fading and are removable for cleaning. I have used wireless keyboards but this model being wired means that you don’t have to worry about having to switch it on and off each time to save the battery. There are additional gaming settings provided if you need them but for me, this was a quality purchase at a good price.

Really good but energy saving mode can't be toggled off
I like many points:- looks great- quiet typing and really agreable feel- lighting good enough for my test (for the price), choices and brightness- very stable- YOU CAN DEACTIVATE THE WIN key (I used to always remove that key to avoid accidents in games)The only issue:- the energy saving mod.It turns off the lighting after x minutes of inactivity (keyboard not used). This was really annoying but I have maybe found a solution, using a software to activate a keyboard key every x minutes.Edit-I tried using AutoHotkey to activate a key every X minutes. The script functions but doesn't prevent the energy saving mode from turning the lighting off. I have a ticket opened with the Teknet but I doubt it'll yield any result - this must be hardcoded and there doesn't seem to be any firmware available for this keyboard.

This is more like it! - decent backlighting and very good build quality.
I've owned a few of these cheaper RGB keyboards (I refuse to fork out big bucks for a "big company name gaming keyboard) - I just like the soothing colours when I am working late at night in a subdued, dimly lit room. One of my keyboards needed replaced, the lettering had worn of the WSAD keys and the spacebar (yes...that type of working! :-) I have returned two of these cheap, sub £20 keyboards as they were just awful - terrible build quality, really light plastic, and the RGB was so poor that I could literally not read the keys at night. This one however is absolutely fantastic for the price - as soon as I took it out the box, I could feel the build quality, nice and sturdy. Once plugged in, two major plus factors became apparent - the RGB lighting is excellent, strong, and it backlights ALL the keys - I have no problem reading them. The other thing that is really nice, is the action of the keys, it feels great typing on this keyboard.Of course, there all the usual features expected - legs, RGB brightness control, RGB pulsing, different colour schemes etc.Tecknet really knocked it out the park with this one. I'm going to buy another for my second desktop.
