I will admit some of the one star reviews had me a bit skeptical of this device. But I found myself wasting a lot of time on my old touch screen phone so I wanted something cheap and simple. Having access to the internet and a computer made setup very easy. I had no trouble setting the phone up on the track phone website. Additionally I want to be very clear your phone should come with the SIM card pre installed already. You do NOT need to purchase a SIM card it comes with one pre-installed(the amazon listing doesn't do a good job at clarifying this at all). It does have a space for a micro SD card if you want to put one in. That said don't be foolish like me and waste extra money on a SIM card you don't need. Overall the phone is okay quality for the price the screen is bright, the phone is fairly large and has big buttons so it would be good for seniors/kids, speaker volume isn't amazing so if you are hard of hearing or make calls in loud environments that may be something to consider. Overall very solid cheap phone. I will certainly buy another if this one breaks. Also 15$/month unlimited talk/text is very competitive in todays market.

Absolutely love this phone. Super sturdy, great value, and the monthly cost is so affordable with lots of options. I love the tracfone reward program and it gets great service + wifi. I even listen to the radio again because it’s available on the phone already. It gives so much nostalgia! Battery life so far has been great and I love that it comes with a second battery. This has greatly helped with disconnecting from online overconsumption and reconnecting with the real world.

Great simple phone to recover from iPhone noise. No more waste time on scrolling through social media chasing clouds. It does come with Wi-Fi, email and internet but I didn't connect to any. No accounts or overwhelming verifications. No notification of a circus with orange clowning. Just simple talk with those you prefer to talk and ignore or block those who are a disturbance to your peace. For everything else, use your laptop or desktop on your FREE time, when you need, not when apps push you to engage. Hope someday, someone, will produce phone only for VOICE, without camera, text, and other brain draining nonsense. But this one is good start. Highly recommend to those who value their time and privacy.

The Flip 3 is not a smartphone, and is not capable of using LTE data. It is otherwise a capable old-school device, perfect as a backup device. However, it does need a service plan to do calls, SMS, and, this is big, it has a removable battery! Now for the stupid part - Tracfone only shows plans with data for a phone that can't use data, and Tracfone apparently expects user to pay for the unusable service. To make matters worse, they advertise a no data plan, but you can't buy when activating the phone online. Calling / Chat / Customer service is MIA at Tracfone. Returned.

Good simple phone best for talking. The texting is weird. Must frequently reset the type of letters and script to use. Transferred my existing TracFone phone number to this new device easily. Arrived in new condition and activated.

No its lock so I have to pay for 6 months esims before I just add it to my phone provider and I got my first month doesn't work can't text or make calls because of a bad sim so they sent a new one and it still don't work just buy one from Walmart unlocked or at your mobile store other then that phone is fine easy to customize and helps those get away from social media and doom scrolling

I got this as a birthday present for my 10 year old. We wanted to introduce him to technology and teach him responsibly without all of the mess of social media and doomscrolling. He loves it so far. It's easy to use and isn't cheaply made. The battery life is amazing! It goes several days without needing to be charged. It's got a nice yet simple design too. I love that it has a build-in kid mode that turns off access to the internet, youtube, and other features that we don't want him on. It's been a great (and SAFE!) experience so far!

The tracfone TCL flip 3 is a decent basic phone that gets the job done, but it’s not without its drawbacks. I like the simple design and how easy it is to use for calls and texts, especially if you’re looking for something straightforward without all the distractions of a smartphone. The battery life is also pretty solid for everyday use. However, the phone can feel a bit slow at times, and the camera quality isn’t the best, even though it’s video capable. The storage is limited, so you can’t really do much beyond the basics. It works fine as a backup phone or for the light use, but don’t expect anything too advanced. Overall, it’s okay for the price but there’s definitely room for improvement.
