Oasis Plus 2 – Bluetooth Transmitter for TV with Remote Volume Control, Supports Two Headphones, aptX-Adaptive, Soundbar Passthrough, for Optical or AUX TVs

Excellent unit that has made my LG C3 OLED TV useable with headphones! Audio is rock solid and plenty loud enough even without the boost option. In fact the boost introduced a bit of distortion at higher volumes, but luckily I don't need it. The remote for the volume is very responsive and I'm very happy with the unit. It's a very clean, pleasant sound with no noise or buzzing. The only slight niggle is that if I pause any streaming service (Prime, YouTube etc.) the audio does start to break up and go out of sync when I resume the programme. This doesn't happen when using Blu-ray or TV recorder playback - it only seems to be when streaming either from the TV's built in apps or via 4K Firestick. A quick power cycle of the unit always restores the audio perfectly though. (I might plug a USB power adapter into smart socket so I can just ask Alexa to power reset it 😊) It's currently getting its' power from one of the TVs USB sockets. I have tested compatibility with: Shokz Open Dots One Soundcore AeroFit2 Sony WF510 Tozo Openbuds Soundcore Sport X10 Cambridge Melomania 1 All were bought over time to try and get a set of headphones working natively with the LG OLED - none worked reliably with it! All the above headphones worked with other devices and now work seamlessly with the Aventree Oasis Plus 2. Highly recommended!

Needed something so I could link my DFS Cine sofa to my Samsung TV without the awful loss of sound that Samsung imposes on non Samsung products. This did the trick, it’s easy to setup and links to the sofa via Bluetooth whilst still connected via optical cable to my original surround sound system. I’ve got to turn the sound down on the original surround sound otherwise I get an echo effect. It also incorporates a boost switch that makes the sound go even louder. Bit pricey for what it is but worth the money.

Great value for money, does exactly what it says it does, easy to set up. So no issues there. There are a couple of things to note, which are not the fault of the device but you should know about before you get disappointed and think you have to return it becuase you might assume the tranmitter is faulty. Check that your headphones have Aptx. I assumed that my Sony noise-cancelling headphones would have it but they don't so there is a small lag issue. It's not enough to notice if you are watching the TV on its own with just the headphones on, everything seems to match up very well and i don't notice any lag in that situation, however if you're watching it with your headphones and other people in the room have the soundbar on, there is a slight echo, the sound comes out of the soundbar before it comes out of your headphones. So you will need noise cancelling on and the volume up to try and mitigate this. Maybe changing my headphones will eliminate the problem completely, but that sounds like an expensive thing to try only to find out that it's got something to do with physics and the speed of sound and it's not a transmitter issue at all. The other thing to take into account is that the signal is very strong. Yesterday I spent ages trying to fix my phone including resetting the bluetooth function and repairing it, because my phone kept dropping the connection to my headphones within seconds. I thought my phone was broken. It turned out that I'd left the transmitter switched on in the living room and despite being in the kitchen, my headphones were dropping the connection to my phone and reconnecting with the transmitter. You can tune out the slight echo once you get used to it, so I'd describe it as more of a niggle rather than an annoyance. So like I say, not exactly faults with the transmitter, but just something you might want to be aware of, all in all it's a great solution for TVs that no longer have a 3.5mm jack for people who want to use headphones.

Samsung ue55 with earfun 4 buds very easy I bought this and the earbuds because I have tinnitus, linked it to my TV with and optical cable ,install works well. Can control TV or Soundbar with the original remote and the earbuds with the remote that came with the ace tree oasis 2

Excellent piece of kit. Should have bought one sooner. I have it connected to the TV, and the sound is crystal clear through my headphones. No lag either 📺 🎧🙂

Doesn't connect via Bluetooth so completely useless

I work out in front of the TV and needed some earphones (the column of the TV was bothering my neighbours). This gadget allows me to use Bluetooth earphones while working out, perfect. It paired with my earphones instantly and required minimal set-up. I'm using the optical out pass through and powering it from a USB plug socket so I don't have to worry about battery life.

I needed this so I could use my wireless ear buds without the problems with my old over-ear headphones. I've had similar Avantree products in the past so I chose this as it suited my needs exactly. Unfortunately, the pairing process did not go well at all. In spite of following the instructions, I could not get pairing to succeed. Neither of the 2 ear/headphones would pair. I was ready to return it as faulty but gave it one more try. This time pairing was successful. I have no idea why it wouldn't work in the first place. Now that is is working, it does work very well and the range I can get is far better than any of my previous purchases. I just wish I knew why the pairing caused such problems.

Très facile à installer avec les instructions disponibles en ligne. Je l'utilise pour connecter mon téléviseur avec un casque via bluetooth. On peut même connecter deux casques en même temps.

Testé sur la TV en optique ou sur un décodeur UHD4K Orange via un convertisseur coax-optique (pas de sortie numérique sur ce décodeur). Appairage sans difficulté des Airpod Pro2 et des aides auditives Phonak. Mais, je l'utilise seulement avec les Airpods car le son est bien meilleur qu'avec les aides auditives Phonac. Il faut savoir qu'avec les Airpods, seul le code Bluetooth SBC est disponible. Mais je n'ai pas observé de latence gênante et le son est bon de mon point de vue. Le gag, c'est que la télécommande de l'Avantree est reconnue par le décodeur UHD4K d'Orange : la modification du niveau sonore fait changer de chaîne ! La télécommande est donc inutilisable dans cette configuration. Avec les Airpods Pro, ce n'est pas gênant car ils ont un réglage de volume.

Life saver!! Bought this in hopes to connect my loyal 2008 LG tv to my noise cancelling Bose earbuds. I purchased another transmitter that failed to have any volume control (which made no sense to me!). This one, with a remote, works amazingly and set up was pretty easy. Also love that you have the option to hook up a second set of buds.

Perfetto, si collega in un attimo a max due cuffie bluetooth che rimangono memorizzate e pronte all’uso. Con questo sistema è possibile permettere a chi ha un udito basso di fruire delle cuffie in maniera indipendente, consentendo ad altri componenti del nucleo di ascoltare la tv a volume normale. Eccellente. Avevamo acquistato delle cuffie apposite ma sempre Avantree ma sono durate circa un anno. Con questo trasmettitore puoi usare qualsiasi cuffia bluetooth e quindi speriamo di aver risolto il problema.
