I love these pads. My old ones are 20 years old and still good. Just bought more!
As I was doing my floors I thought I would tell you about these pads that I use for my aluminum mop.I have many different kinds of pads and have basically tried them all. I find the "blue" ones tend to smear and not pick up all the wetness if you are using a damp map. I think they are more polyester. These green ones are finer than the blue ones and more absorbent, more like a cotton-poly blend. As a result they are a little harder to push when wet because they make kind of a "firmer", more clinging, contact with the floor when wet, which is what make the floor super clean. They are billed as dust mop heads and are great for that, but they are backed by an absorbent pad which makes them ideal for damp mopping. They are the only ones that don't smear the dried dog drool marks on my floor and they clean them off with one or two swipes, whereas I have to scrub with the blue ones. Plus they leave the floor nearly dry and the floor then dries in less than 5 minutes.I highly recommend these.

THE SHORT OF IT
Just like the wet mop pads the dust pads are slightly short and not wide enogh but they pick up everything from ground dirt to hair
