The launcher is super easy to assemble, takes about 2 minutes and is very intuitive because each piece is keyed so you can't do it wrong.I’ve been setting the launcher up so that it mimics a cross court dink that should be taken out of the air, this way I’ll get a lot of repetitions on something I’m only so-so at.The entire machine tilts backwards and forwards to adjust the height the ball will be launched. You can also mount the entire machine on a tripod which gives even more height/aiming options. I see in the reviews the launcher being placed all the way near the opponent’s baseline (it also shows this on the product photos), in my opinion that isn’t the right setup for this machine. It needs to be placed much closer and higher, maybe even on the same side of the court as you if you’re trying to simulate a drive coming at you. This makes the ball come at you faster than a huge arch from the opposite baseline.I also hadn't realized that each wheel that launches the ball has it's own individual speed and tilt adjustment. Using different speeds on opposite wheels will create spin either clockwise or counterclockwise. Using the tilt adjustment on either wheel will make the ball curve to the right or the left by tilting one wheel up and one down. That’s a lot of possibilities for spin, curve and heigh for such a cheap machine!!In addition to all those settings the unit also comes with an oscillating base, this can be used to get some cardio in as it’ll move you back and forth on the court with each launch. The oscillating base attaches to the launcher with a Velcro strap and plugs into the launcher to use the same power source. I assume battery life is improved if you don’t use the oscillating base but it’s nice to have.I use a 10,000mAh power bank / jump starter that outputs 2.5amps. The instructions say you need to use a source that outputs over 2amps if using the USB connector. Compared to running it off the included power cord directly to a wall outlet I didn’t notice any difference when using this power bank.This is a great launcher if you have the right expectations before purchasing. It isn’t equivalent to a Pickleball Tutor or Lobster which should be obvious given the price being 1/15 the cost. However, it does allow you to drill on your own to get repetitions in if you’re unable to find people who are willing to drill. For the cost it’s worthy it IMO.

Works better than expected. I previously purchased a dozen of Franklin pickleballs and they worked great. I had a different type that came with my racket set that didn’t work well as they were slightly smaller. It did take a bit to get the distance dialed in and there is some variance in distance and side to side but that fine with me. Spin changes make a small bit of difference, so if you’re looking for that you may need something else. It’s been great to get hits in and fun for the kids.

I am updating my product review after I used it one day. I took out one star because spits out the ball too slow. Also, if the timing gets messed up, it will consistently spit up two balls.I am really impressed with this machine; especially, if you consider the price. I thought it's going to be crap. It wasn't. One can control the speed of the left motor and the right motor independently, when can also control the angle of each motor and dependently both of those things allow you to control the direction of spin. The machine is also capable of spinning right to left. It has two settings fast and slow. The thing that impressed me the most is the speed that it ejects the ball. You really can't go wrong with this machine had a price point of $148. I'm a mechanical engineer myself and I am impressed with the design and cleverness of the machine.

Low power, you have to use the highest angle of launch get balls over the net, otherwise at least half go into it, even on height setting number 3 (of 4) Even when plugged into wall power the launcher seems to lose steam and not get back to full launching speed

Was debating about buying the titan or slingshot and never financially recover from it, until I found this, and believe me, for a 10th of the price, is totally worth the try. I got an extra ac power bank cause it sucked when powered with the D batteries, but if you plug it to ac power, it would send the ball baseline to baseline with no problemo. Also picked a ball recycling net for a hundred more and now it can hold as many balls I can grab with my two hands (gae). It does the job, and If you creative you can set it up in many positions for a number of drills. DONT USE THE D BATTERIES!

I absolutely love this machine!!! It does it all, even a variety of spins and speeds. It's lightweight and super easy to assemble. I ordered two extra items: a portable power bank and extra ball racks (from amazon with: Furlihong Extendable Spiral Ball Tunnel, Compatible with 680BH, 6802BH, 3809BH, 6801BH, 666BH, 698BH, 6901BHA, 898BH, 666PBH, 380BH, 777BHB, 681PBH, 3802PBH)

Yeah it’s a 5 star for me. The balls come out fast with a lot of spin. Easy set up. Put it on a tripod and get more speed. Set it up for kitchen work , backhand , forehand, every part of the game that one needs to improve on. I'd get a power remote that lets you start and stop with a push of the button. Worth the money to get your level up. I want from a 2 to 4 in less than a month. Great for control and foot work. Helped me understand what mistakes I was making and corrected those mistakes . Great for eye hand coordination.

Great affordable launcher, my first one after a lot of use had issues with one of the throwing wheels coming apart. I called and they sent me a new one. Very good customer service. The launchers, both when working properly, launches the balls consistenty to the same place.
