PENDLETON Heirloom Classic Wool Blanket, Ivory, King Size

Beautiful blanket. Lightweight, soft. Don't like the color particularly, it's kind of a champagne, almost pale yellow but not quite. I was hoping it would be closer to white. Be that as it may it has been put on my bed and slept under. The satin stitched around the edges is fewer inches deep than in years past. The quality of the wool doesn't seem to be as good as in the past also. They were so well known for their different pastel colored bed blankets and I'm very disappointed that this was the only color they offer anymore. It will be used, and enjoyed, but like a lot of things today, it's nothing like something I got from them many years ago that disappeared from my house. Long story. This was supposed to be the replacement and it really isn't. Everybody's making things cheaper these days and yet the cost was probably twice or more than I paid for the last blanket without getting as much quality. I guess I'm just an old fuddy duddy who wants things the way they were back when. I think the first blanket was purchased 20 years ago perhaps.

This is a perfect blanket—and am now wishing I had purchased it a long time ago! It’s expensive- but how many cheap blankets have you used and given away over the years? Here’s the keeper!

After years of searching.... this is the PERFECT blanket for our king size bed!!! Absolutely beautiful to look at. Right size, right weight...not so heavy that it pulls your toes down. Warm enough for the Rocky Mountain winter. Satin border around the entire blanket...not just the top and bottom. Pricey but worth every penny. Looks like it will last for the next 20 years at least. We use ours with a sheet beneath and a light down blanket (NOT comforter) on top, cool room temp at night. Will buy another for Grandma!!

This blanket is perfection. Total warmth with a light sheet and a comforter. 25 degrees outside up to 55. Well worth the price.

THE best blanket I have ever owned. Period. This was a Christmas gift for my always-chilled wife AND SHE LOVES IT. . Wool is amazing; it sleeps cool enough for Ventura, California weather, yet when temperatures dip below 50 degrees (very Rare) it’s plenty warm. It’s pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I have been searching for a new wool blanket for several years and finally found this Pendleton blanket. Unlike so many blankets now, this one has the satin binding around all four sides which gives it that finishing touch. It is more than generously sized and good quality wool. I purchased the queen size and there is plenty of blanket for two people to be covered and no one will have to pull the covers for their share of the blanket.

Very soft. Warm, but light weight, four season blanket. Not super warm for very cold temps. Good quality and nice soft satin edging.
