Excellent Quality, Reasonably Priced, Breathtaking Views!
I have been fascinated by the skies since I was kid. I was hesitant to purchase a telescope because of the outrageous pricing. I came across this one, one of the only reasonable priced ones I could find, and thought the risk was worth the potential reward. I am happy to report, I hit a homerun with this one! Excellent quality without breaking the bank. My main takeaways are: 1. EASY installation. All in, it took a little over 10 minutes. My 15-year-old niece did most of the work. It’s very intuitive. 2. HIGH Quality material. It looks and feels much more expensive than it is. 3. EASY Transportation. It’s very light weight. I can move it from my deck, to the house, to the front porch with ease. It breaks down just as easy as you can put it together. It comes with a case. You can have back in the case and in the car in under 15 minutes. 4. GREAT Views. You get the same thing as you would from any other scope with a 10mm and 25mm magnification (it comes with these two). ADVICE – Use the 10mm first (lower magnification, broader view) to spot what you are looking for. Then use the 25 mm to get a closer view. Alternatively, it comes a with a side spotter scope you could use to locate. You do need to calibrate the side scope first to its aligned with the main scope. 5. EASY to change positions. It swivels and adjusts up and down in a very intuitive way. 6. DETAILED instructions. My advice, take the time to read the instructions (not a long read). They are very well put together and will save you frustration if this is your first scope. 7. The phone attachment is a game changer. If it’s annoying/difficult for you to close one eye the phone attachment aligns your phone’s camera the view hole. You can see just as you would with your eye. ADVICE – spend a couple bucks on an eye patch, it makes manually viewing soooo much easier. Also, make sure your eye is a couple centimeters back from the scope when viewing and that you are in a DARK area. If you’re an astronomy junky like me or just looking for some good old-fashioned entertainment, you can’t go wrong here (kids love it). Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The skies are great this time of the year around me!

Nice telescope for a beginner! Great accessory bundle.
Well packed, nice clear guide, relatively easy assembly (took me 15-20 minutes for initial assembly, another 5 or so outside to tweak the sighting scope). Seems like a solid bargain for the price, more details below. This is my first telescope, so I can't compare to others. It feels like the times are thin metal whereas most if the ends, etc are plastic. Glass lenses. Everything came neatly packed and wrapped into the carry case, inside a cardboard box, inside another cardboard box. Considering some components are I think somewhat fragile, this seemed like the right amount of packaging. Some of the adjustments on the tripod feel a bit stiff to me compared to some of my camera tripods, but feels like decent construction. Used it outside tonight for the first time. Inside town with nearby lights, but clear skies. Located I think Jupiter, but it just looked like a bright dot to me ;) Much better results looking at the moon where I was able to tell what I was doing with the focus and get a nice beautiful sharp image. The moon was very high in the sky and I had to sit on the ground to use it, but well worth it. I was only using the 25mm eyepiece this time as it was my first try. Going to try out the phone adapter for pictures next time, then maybe another time the 3x Barlow lens and 10mm eyepiece to see if I can get a better view of a planet. The top mount for a phone was handy for using an app to quickly locate planets/constellations/etc (I tried the recommended Stellarium app this time).

Great Telescope for Beginners and Stargazing Enthusiasts
The Dianfan Telescope is a great choice for anyone looking for an easy-to-use telescope with good views of the night sky. Here are some of the things I liked most about it: * **Clear Views:** The 90mm aperture gathers enough light to deliver clear and bright images of the moon, stars, and even some deep space objects. * **Multiple Magnification Options:** The included eyepieces and Barlow lens provide a variety of magnification levels, so you can get a close-up view of craters on the moon or a wider field of view of a star cluster. * **Portable and Easy to Use:** The telescope is relatively lightweight and comes with a stainless steel tripod that is easy to set up. It also includes a carry bag for easy transport and storage. * **Great for Kids and Beginners:** The telescope is easy to use and maneuver, making it a great option for kids or anyone who is new to astronomy. The included phone adapter allows you to take pictures of what you see through the telescope, which is a great way to share your observations with others. Overall, the Dianfan Telescope is a great value for the price. It is a good option for anyone who wants to explore the night sky without spending a fortune on a telescope. Here are some additional points to consider: * While the advertised magnification goes up to 240x, keep in mind that higher magnifications can sometimes produce blurrier images due to atmospheric conditions. The best views are often obtained at lower magnifications. * This telescope is a refractor telescope, which means it uses lenses to collect light. Refractor telescopes are generally good for viewing celestial objects, but they may not be the best choice for viewing faint deep space objects. If you are looking for a beginner-friendly telescope that will allow you to explore the wonders of the night sky, the Dianfan Telescope is a great option.

Amazing quality telescope, perfect for beginners!
This telescope has exceeded my expectations! It is made of metal and is extremely high quality and well built. The stand is sturdy and the mounts can be easily adjusted to your liking. It also comes with a cool phone adapter so you can take pictures of what you see with your phone. It also comes with a convenient carrying case so you can easily store and transport it with you. The instructions it came with are very clear and easy to understand. I’ve never used a telescope before but was able to easily put it together and learned how to use it. I was able to locate a star and switch to the higher power 10mm eyepiece to view it even closer! The picture doesn’t do it justice! It’s amazing seeing the swirling edges of stars. I can’t wait to find other planets and stars to look at! I highly recommend this telescope for anyone looking to get into stargazing or even if you are on the fence for buying a telescope. You can’t go wrong with this one! The quality is amazing and this telescope has exceeded all of my expectations!

A Stellar Telescope for Aspiring Astronomers!
As someone just getting into the hobby of stargazing, I did a ton of research before settling on the Dianfan 90mm Aperture 800mm Telescope. I'm incredibly glad I made this choice! Right out of the box, I could tell this was a quality piece of equipment. Everything about the telescope exudes good design and durability. The metal tripod is rock solid and keeps the optical tube perfectly steady. All the accessories like the eyepieces, finderscope, and phone mount feel like they were made with care. Even the carrying case is nicely padded. But of course, the most important thing is the viewing experience - and on that front, this telescope delivers in spades. Thanks to the 90mm aperture, I've been able to get crystal clear views of the moon's craters and mountains. The level of detail is honestly stunning compared to lesser telescopes I've looked through. Positioning the tube is a breeze with the alt-azimuth mount, and once you acquire your target, the focuser keeps things pinpoint sharp. I've even managed to spot the rings of Saturn and cloud bands of Jupiter on nights with good seeing. For an amateur like me, being able to glimpse these objects so clearly is magical. Astrophotography fans will love the multiple eyepiece options and dedicated smartphone adapter. I've been able to snap some pretty great lunar shots just by holding my iPhone up to the eyepiece . With practice, I'm sure I can get even better results. Perhaps my favorite aspect is how user-friendly this scope is while still offering a lot of capability. The intuitive setup let me start observing right away, but there's enough versatility to keep growing my skills. No matter your experience level, this is an excellent telescope that makes skywatching accessible and fun. For the price, the Dianfan 90mm punches well above its weight. If you're looking for your first "real" telescope or an affordable upgrade, put this one at the top of your list. Highly recommended!

Totally new at this.
The scope is nothing fancy but workable. A whole lot of operator problems. The worst thing about this scope is the finder scope and its mount. Intend to replace it and see what happens. Tripod not bad but coming from a Phtography background have a much better one, just need to figure out best way to mount it. If you buy one would recommend at least one decent low power eye piece. The ones that come with it are not very good. I have a much larger scope and already had lots of bits and pieces to work with. Enjoy clear skies and good hunting.

Amazing beginners telescope
Worth It! I’ve always been fascinated by space, but I never actually owned a telescope—until now. Let me tell you, this thing is excellent. The 90mm aperture is no joke. The images are sharp, bright, and just overall incredible. Whether checking out the Moon or trying to spot planets, everything looks way better than I expected. The **high-transmission coatings** on the lenses help with clarity, so there’s none of that fuzzy, hard-to-focus nonsense. It comes with two eyepieces and a 3X Barlow lens, meaning I can get magnifications from 32X to 240X. I honestly wasn’t sure how well this would work, but the zoom is impressive! I even attached my phone and took some decent shots—definitely an awesome feature. I was a little intimidated at first, but setting it up was way easier than expected. The instructions were straightforward, and once I got the hang of it, I was able to quickly focus on whatever I wanted to see. There was no frustration, just straight-up fun. I originally got this for space-watching, but I realized it’s also perfect for checking out wildlife, cityscapes, and basically anything cool from a distance. The tripod is solid, and the whole setup is light enough to carry around, making it great for outdoor trips. I haven’t had any issues (thankfully!), but it’s nice to know that Dianfan has 24/7 support in case something comes up. It's always good to have that backup. If you want a high-powered, easy-to-use telescope, this one’s worth it. Whether you’re into astronomy, nature-watching, or just curious about what’s out there, this telescope makes exploring fun and effortless. I’m beyond happy with it! Highly recommend!

Dianfan Telescope: Absolutely Amazing!
I couldn’t be happier with my new Dianfan Telescope, 90mm Aperture! From the moment I set it up, it’s been nothing short of incredible. Here’s why this telescope has blown me away: Crystal-Clear Views The clarity is unbelievable! I pointed it at the Moon on my first night, and the detail I saw left me speechless. Craters, textures—it was like I was right there. And when I turned it toward Jupiter, I could even see its moons. For this price range, the quality of the optics is just amazing. Super Easy to Use I was a bit nervous about setting it up, but it was so simple! The instructions were clear, and I had it ready to go in no time. Even as a beginner, I didn’t feel overwhelmed—just pure excitement to get started. Adjusting it is smooth and intuitive, so you spend more time stargazing and less time fiddling with it. Lightweight and Portable I love how easy it is to move around. The lightweight design means I can set it up in my backyard or pack it for a trip without any hassle. The tripod is sturdy yet compact, making the whole setup super convenient. Perfect for Stargazing This telescope has completely changed the way I experience the night sky. It’s such a joy to use, and every clear night feels like an adventure waiting to happen. Whether it’s the Moon, planets, or stars, this telescope delivers stunning views every time. Final Thoughts The Dianfan Telescope is an absolute gem. It’s perfect for anyone looking to explore the night sky, whether you’re a beginner or just want a reliable telescope to reignite your love for astronomy. I can’t recommend it enough—this is one purchase you won’t regret!

Fantastic quality, easy setup, amazing clarity at a fraction of the cost of competitors!
WOW! I’m an amateur astrophotographer and have been debating on what kind of telescope to get for a while. A friend suggested this one, and I was impressed with their opinion and the price point. I recommend this telescope for anyone of any age looking for a casual scope, or for applied cases like astrophotography, you really cannot go wrong. This telescope performs equally to one of the $800ish models I was considering that another friend has. This has me thinking perhaps I have been lead to believe brand name = better, but this telescope proves that is not the case. I was immediately impressed with the quality of packaging and the carrying case. Upon unboxing I was so pleased to see that there is a compartment for the main body of the scope and the tripod - this isn’t always the case, I have been in stargazing experiences and people have multiple packs for the tripod and telescope, one case is a huge bonus! The tripod is of the highest quality! I am so impressed with the workmanship and materials! It is a fantastic weight, it’s not too light, but it not so heavy that it would be cumbersome to carry long distances if needed. Ideal for withstanding breezy nights or days if that’s what you’re into. The scope is excellent. Setup was quick, I didn’t read the instructions until it came to the phone mount. The body attaches to the tripod with quality metal parts. I was quite pleased again that there was so much attention to workmanship and detail. I used 3x Barlow lense and the 25mm eye piece with the phone adapter to capture some quick images of the moon and play with the telescope. My phone is an iPhone 15 Pro Max and the images were taken with my 48mm lense, raw with no adjusted settings or night mode. I’m quite pleased with the quality of the images, and was surprised that the mount could withstand the weight and size of my 15 Pro Max! My husband decided to come have a peak at the moon with the telescope, and his first impression was awe. The clarity and detail we were able to see from the moon were outstanding. 10/10 impressed with this scope! I look forward to continued use. I will update this review with images of other planets when I have more time to play 🙂 I’m over the moon impressed with this telescope from Dianfan, I was looking for a scope I could use with my phone and they have saved me hundreds without causing me to sacrifice quality. Thanks Dianfan!

Excellent Telescope for Beginners and Beyond – Crystal Clear Views and Easy Setup!
I am incredibly impressed with the Dianfan Telescope! As a beginner in astronomy, I wanted something that was easy to set up yet powerful enough to see clear details, and this telescope exceeded my expectations. The 90mm aperture and 800mm focal length deliver stunningly crisp and bright images of the moon, planets, and even some deep-sky objects. The stainless steel tripod is sturdy, which is essential for stability during observations, and the carry bag makes it very portable for trips to darker skies. The phone adapter is a fantastic addition, allowing me to capture and share my discoveries with ease. Overall, this is a high-quality telescope for both beginners and intermediate stargazers, with exceptional clarity and ease of use. Highly recommend!
