This lens is incredibly small and lives up to all the hype I’ve seen online. It weighs hardly anything and has excellent performance. Really effective walk around lens and ideal for street photography. Very happy with the purchase and incredible value for money.

+ small, slim and light + works with APS-C body + ease of use + well-made even considering its footprint + can produce sharp photos + autofocus is fast and spot on + there's a bit of noise but only when it's darker + gives your photos "vintage" look + will make your setup smaller + vignetting is easy to control + good color reproduction - almost no bokeh at f/4.5, photos look more out of focus - constant aperture of f/4.5, so you cannot change it - you have to open the lens before you turn on your camera, if you won't do this, lens may break after prolonged use

Very happy with this little lens, the built in lens cover is superb. I only recently purchased the camera and this lens is such a reasonable price it easily allowed me to add it to my little set up. It’s so small I can just slip it in my pocket.

For the price of it I had to buy one, I’ve always loved the 28mm focal length and wanted something small for my A7c. It came nicely boxed and I was impressed by the build quality. I’ve taken a few shots with it so far and I have to say I’m impressed. One shot I took you could count the hairs on the back of my hand. Autofocus isn’t really close and not the fastest but overall I can see this lens spending a lot of time on my camera

This is a well built, tiny, and inexpensive lens. The auto focus is quiet and accurate, although a little slow. The issue with my one is that the left hand side of the frame is out of focus, which means I’m simply unlucky. The rest of the frame is quite good but mine also lacks contrast which makes the images look ‘vintage’. I’d recommend you take a look at how many second hand ones regularly pop up to give you a hint of when owners decide to try something else.

Can’t really complain for the cheap price. Very light and compact. This is good for casual street photography!

Well, I’m going to be honest. I honestly thought this was just a joke lens that I would be returning to the seller. Jokes on me!!! This has become my favourite lens for street photography. Update: Sadly, the lens has developed a focusing fault. Viltrox customer service is very poor! Thankfully Amazon customer support is amazing. Googling the issue with this lens, it seems I am not the only one who’s has had problems.

Permet de se balader avec son APN dans une configuration très compacte. Les images sont très correctes. Il faut bien avoir en tête qu'on ne peut pas jouer sur l'ouverture ! Mais est-ce vraiment un problème à cette focale ?... Pas cher !

You'll find plenty of reviews about this little pancake around the internet: it's super small, super cheap, and a lot of fun. It definitely takes some practice to see what kind of shots work best with this (f/4.5, not very contrasty, so get yourself a lot of light!) After a few months of use, I had an issue where the integrated lens cap didn't operate mechanically anymore. I had to go through warranty, and was kindly helped via email. It took some effort to reach the right channel (email them directly on info@ or amzservice@), but after that the process was smooth!

I was surprised how good it is. For so cheap, I can actually take great pictures. Worth the money.

This is a fun little lens that makes my A7Cii reasonably pocketable. It is obviously a lens with limited use, given the lack of zoom and the small f stop range. But it does function well as a street photography lens for a full-frame camera (you will want to crop your pictures due to vignetting and lack of zoom. The built-in lens cover switch is a great innovation. The downside is that you can't add any filters because there are no threats. For this price, its a great addition to your camera bag for portability, for street photography, and for an emergency backup lens.
