AVOID! Poor Quality, GRITTY and with strange taste. Don't waste your money
This is the 2nd 1kg bag of this make I've bought and I wish I hadn't. I won't be buying again (unless desperate). This bag is very gritty without the fire of good ginger. Seems to be very inconsistent. 1st bag I eventually got used to, but that, at first, left a weird after taste and when the bag was first opened tasted slightly of garlic.I've only ever bought supermarket ginger before in small jars and from different retailers, and that was of consistent quality.I think I shall be avoiding Old India products from now on I'm afraid. I only wish I could get my money back for this bag. Its so unpleasant it puts me off using it

Great for cakes and turmeric drinks.
I really enjoy a hot turmeric and ginger milk drink in the evening. I add a little honey if I want some sweetening.
