Crazycat Catnip Toy (GREEN)

I ordered 2 of these (and 1 of the Cheesy Mouse from the same brand) as they were on special offer at £1.99 each so I figured I didn't have much to lose. I have to admit I underestimated the size of them, thinking they'd be a bit bigger but they're VERY small and more suited to a kitten than a full grown cat! Initially my cat, Lottie, was quite excited with the one that I took out for her and rolled around on the floor with it for a full couple of minutes then lost interest and walked away. No amount of encouraging since then has enticed her to play with it again yet! Same with the Cheesy Mouse. Admittedly, Lottie isn't exactly the most playful of cats but she does normally respond to good catnip. So, either the catnip in these toys is very faint or, as with many other cat toys (except the dangly fishing rod type, which she does actually like and jumps up for to chase) Lottie just tires of them quickly anyway. :-(

We have 6 cats (I know crazy cat people) and every one of them went mad for this little thing. Its much smaller than I expected it to be and it kept getting knocked under the sofa. But all in all it was a good buy. The catnip inside wears off eventually but whatever it is they use in it is magic and I'd love to get my hands on some. I knew it was going to be liked when 2 of our cats started reacting to the empty plastic bag it had been posted in!

The CrazyCat Catnip Toys are a huge success with my kitties. One kitty grabbed the catnip toy still in its plastic bag because she was so keen to play with the toy. The toy is easy for a cat to throw around and item is very very sturdy and will withstand a cat's very sharp claws. Even better I received a free CrazyCat Catnip toy because I ordered two together. Our kitten loves these toys just right to chew on as he is teething, he carries them around and flings them all over the place. Could not decide which colour so bought all 3 as so reasonably priced and different. Purple seems to be his favourite. One happy kitten.

I unwrapped one of these catnip toys and when my cat came in from outside he could immediately smell it across the room. He absolutely loved it and I had to take it off him in the end because it was so soggy. I have to say they are very well made because he spent at least half an hour biting and clawing at it and it isn't damaged at all. Best catnip toy I have ever bought for him, and even if he had hated it I would have put it on my dresser as an ornament because they're pretty cute.

I recognised these as de-badged Kitty Hoots/Fat Cat brand catnip toys - as did my cat. The catnip is a cut above your 'average' toy and the designs are fun and attractive. These are fairly small - perfect for flipping up in the air and for throwing/catching games once the mad catnip-induced antics have calmed down! I've stocked up for all my family's cats - now that Kitty Hoots toys are increasingly difficult to find in the UK, I was thrilled to find these.

Gave this to our cat on Christmas day & she went nuts! She totally loves this adorable little toy. It's definitely good and strong stuff - she could smell it in her Christmas stocking even though I'd wrapped it up in bubble wrap and wrapping paper! :)

These were a definite hit for my 2 cats. Personally, I would have liked them to be a bit bigger, so they have more to get hold of. But, you do receive 3 plus 1 free, so a good deal.
