Nice, big stainless pot
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very good quality stainless steel (18/10) pot. Good thickness. Only problem is the lid doesn’t fit perfectly and when cooking some steam escapes, though not too much. Rest is all good about the pan.Just be careful as the pan gets very hot and the handles are too small. considering the size of the pan, they should have been a bit bigger to give enough room for a good grip to hold. We have to be extra careful while handling it. But this is a design issue, not a quality issue.

Sturdy and Well Made
Loved it! I bought this for a biryani I was making. The pot was just what I needed. I assembled the dish inside and finished the cooking. It came out perfectly. The quality is amazing, being a nice sturdy metal. The heat distribution was great, no part of the biryani was cooked anymore than another. It was super easy to clean with everything coming out with a little water and a sponge. Best part was the price! For the quality, it was unbeatable. Highly recommend, will be buying more pots from them!

A Solid Buy for Healthy Cooking
For a healthier lifestyle, I decided to switch to steel utensils. As an Indian, finding the right one that suits our style of cooking was a bit challenging. After a lot of online research, I came across this pot and have been using it for the past two weeks. It’s doing its job perfectly. The pot is heavy, sturdy, and made of good quality material. I’ve tried cooking chicken biryani and chicken fry with all Indian spices—no stickiness, and the heat distribution is excellent. Cleaning is also quite easy. The only downside is that the lid doesn’t come with a knob, which makes it slightly difficult to handle while cooking. Apart from that, it’s a great product overall - Value for money.

AMAZING BUY!
The media could not be loaded. Healthy, Beautiful, space saving, functional, overall great! One con is the handles are a bit too small. Even the silicon grippers are struggling. That's the one flaw if Tramontina could fix that this patila pot would be perfect

Good buy
Really this is what I was looking for . Usually I get something from my trip to India. But I was surprised to find it here from this brand . Since I have used some of the products from this brand available in Costco , I knew it will be fine to use . I got the both the sizes tope available and Kadai too 😊all have got a good weight in them . The finish is nice and shiny . Though one of them have little scratch but it’s minor one . If you cook Indian food a lot you will not regret buying it . It feels like Bergner brand of cookware available in India .

Excellent pot. Affordable and performs well.
Excellent pot. Bought this pot in the 1.7 quart size and 2.4 quart size. I got the 2.4 quart size from Walmart as it was not available via Amazon. Also purchased the kadhai in size 2.75 quart. Though these pots do not have the long handles, I am fine with that and will use the oven mitts. I like the wide base and they stack nicely. I see a good number of the stainless steel sauce pots do not have a wide base - even All Clad. I got Tramotina 4 quart stock pot and 2 quart sauce pan that came together as set on Amazon for $51 and also got the Tramotina 3 quart saute pan $56.We really like the kadhai for making Indian veggie dishes for okra, eggplant, Indian squash, etc... All the other cookware have performed well for us. We also have a LeCruset 2 quart stock pot - purchased 4 to 5 years ago.
