My son is 11 years old and while he quite likes to read it's not always easy to get him interested. I bought the first 3 books and it took him about a week to read the first one, he read 2 & 3 in 1 stint over 2 days and then was begging me for the rest. Only thing is they are not cheap and not easy to get hold of so back to Amazon for the set. He's really enjoyed these and though he hasn't looked at it online I'm sure he will like that too.Good pace, exciting, with lots going on and facts about real life stuff too!We will be buying the follow ons

Ordered this for my daughter for Christmas. It arrived early if anything, in perfect condition. Exactly as it says online. Because of the price I kept wondering what the catch was. I thought maybe the quality of the books wouldn't be so good. But it was perfect. My daughter is going to be delighted on Christmas day. Thanks a million sun-shine!! Excellent service.

Addictive. My daughter read all of them during the Easter break, is yearning for the sequel, and can't stop talking about it. It got her interested in geography and the map in particular as the characters make their way through the world in search of the 39 clues. Highly recommend.

My son begged me for this box set. Once it arrived his head was stuck in these books almost non-stop until they were all read. Great idea to have series of books written by different authors exposes kids to different writing styles. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY

My children love the books, but be careful. Amazon uses the same id number for the books individually as they do for the whole set. So single books are described as a set, and reviewed as a set! If the price looks too low, know it is just one book. Won't Amazon do anything to fix this????

The set of books were all in good condition and weren't torn or messed up. All books were received by me in good state and the story was interesting, gripping and worth the money. Thank god I didn’t receive a bad product. Amazon has delivered a product in positive state. Overall, all were in good condition and were not prone to damage or wear and tear. But the pack was a little small to carry 11 books of that size, so it was a bit stuffed up. But if you keep one of the books away from the set for reading, there will be no problems.

Ordered these books for my 11 year Olds birthday. He is not much of a reader for the novel type books and has been able (with some encouragement) to almost finish the whole series within 6 months. Product came quickly and in perfect condition.
