Pretty But Not A Functional Carabiner
This necklace is very pretty and doesn't look like something you only paid $12 and some change for. The gold doesn't look cheap and is a nice color and the chain (being kind of on the dainty side) is really sturdy and hangs nicely with the safety pin. The chain is actually fixed on the safety so it stays in place and doesn't slide around. I took a star off because the safety pin isn't actually a functioning carabiner. I read through the description several times to see if it mentioned that the screw was just for show and there was no mention of that but they did refer to it as a carabiner several times. I was really looking forward to having a necklace I could easily swap out charms on but, instead, had to get out my jewelry pliers to open and close the jump rings in order to attach each one. If I were to look for another carabiner necklace I would not order this one again but I would try some of the other jewelry this shop offers because this necklace is so pretty.

This is a thick chain

Purchased several months ago. Not worn daily. No discoloration to date. Fits my neckline as desired. Not flimsy yet lightweight enough for prolonged wear. Would try other items from this brand.

Sadly the coloring on this is too cheap. It’s startling. Didn’t give as a gift.
