Large tail had a slight packaging crease in its core that altered the way the tail moved. After spritzing with warm water and combing, I hung it up and let gravity do the rest. Most of the crease straighten, but it doesn't completely have its natural smooth curvature. It's worth overlooking. The colors are beautiful, and the fur has not shed. I don't have the knowledge to verify whether the fur is real. The measurements on both are accurate, however, take note that the lengths do include the hardware. The keychain is adorable and both are very soft. After a few weeks of light use for costume and quadrobics, both are maintaining well. Teen daughter gives stamp of approval.

Really pretty. The fox tail I received looks very similar to the one displayed in the picture. It’s a very pretty medium-dark grey colour and doesn’t have that weird blue dye tint added to it like some tails do. The very tip of my tail seems like it’s missing, but it’s not very noticeable if you brush it out. I also love the smaller fluffy keychain that comes along with it. It’s made out of the same type of fur as the tail. This is indeed a real fox tail, as it states in the description, in case anyone was wondering.

These tails are just as my title says, realistic and very soft as well. We got these for our daughter as she's making her own Halloween costume this year and we've ordered 5-6 of these tails so far. This is one of the better "fox tails" that we've ordered. It looks lifelike and real. So realistic that I'm sure you could fool people into thinking this actually came from a real fox. The little tail that comes with this big tail, is just as soft and nice as the bigger tail. The quality seems very good and I think this is great for custom costumes or whatever you may want it for.
