Very good brace for the money
After an ankle roll or two, my daughter needed something that could keep her ankle supported without making her feel like she was wearing medieval armor. Enter: the WHCOOL Slim-Fit Ankle Brace. This thing means business. The lace-up design makes it super easy to adjust to the perfect snug fit, and the auto-shaped pads give that extra bit of stability right where you need it. Plus, it’s breathable! The air fabric actually keeps things cool — no swamp foot after a workout (or a casual limp to the fridge). It fits comfortably in her shoe, doesn’t slide around, and gives her the confidence to get back to activity without the constant fear of re-twisting her ankle like a pretzel. Also, bonus points for being slim and discreet — no bulky brace peeking out like I’m preparing for battle.Whether you’re recovering from an injury or just want some added support during sports or workouts, this brace is a solid pick. WHCOOL really brought the cool with this one!

Best brace so far
Great quality and good design, all the different straps add really good support, the velcro makes it easy to put on and tighten to your needs, easy to wear barefoot, little harder to wear with shoes as its not really bulky but its not exactly slim but really good product has helped my ankle so much

Works For Me
Been suffering from a weak left ankle due to some nerve damage. Especially noticeable when I'm playing golf and walking on uneven or hilly ground. Have only been using this ankle support for a couple of weeks but does support my ankle and keep it from "turning" on me when on uneven ground. A little confusing on how to put it on (put it on backwards the first time. Hint - Insert your toes into the LONG end of the brace not the SHORT end). Watched the videos and figured out what I was doing wrong. No issues wearing it with shoes, not too tight, not too loose. It provides the support I was looking for which is to keep my ankle stable. Only 4 Stars because I've only had for a short time and can't adequately judge long term use and quality of construction.

Best ankle brace I've ever used.
I roll my ankle about once a year, unfortunately, so I've tried several ankle braces to deal with it. This is the best brace I've tried, by a long shot. The multi-stage system of first the laces (which are super easy to attach/detach due to the unique velcro design), then the wrap-around straps and verticle support, and finally the top closure to lock everything in place, makes for a very secure, tight fitting support system. This is a really well designed, comfortable, very supportive brace.

Slim and effective
Fits well, initial test feels just as supportive as my last one from doctors office. Very excited for the Velcro laces - I have had to wear these braces daily, and over time I’d resist putting them on either at all or soon enough because it felt time intensive. I figured these laces will reduce that time and therefore my resistance. Silky feel, seems nice quality. Felt almost gel like on the sides. Very slim too!

I have both this and the ASO, and I tend to prefer this one.
I have tried this and the ASO brand. What I prefer about this one-- the body of the brace, the part that goes against your foot, is a soft, pliable sort of fleecy material unlike the ASO which is like a backpack material and more stiff. I have had a lot of trouble figuring out whether to use the Small or the Medium of either brand-- both bunch up in my instep and heel. NEITHER brand fits inside my shoes except my Keen sandals, and those are stretched to their limit. My "normal" foot is 11.5" and with the brace on, my injured foot is 13.25" so I am not sure what kind of shoe they think can manage a 1.75" difference. The size guide tells you to measure your foot-- the injured one or the "normal" foot? I measured both- my "normal" foot is under 12" and the injured foot is 12.25" when it is not swelling. The small works on my injured foot with the straps all nearly too short, and with the medium I have all kinds of extra strap. BOTH sizes bunch up under my foot when I cinch the support straps tight enough to give support. The velcro does hold very well. The vertical support parts are the "scratchy" side of the velcro and the medium on the outside ankle is almost 2" higher than the brace but the "scratchy" is not grabbing my clothes. As far as pain relief-- my pain is about the same either with or without the brace. I'm still early in healing, just out of the CAM boot and into the brace a week ago. I can only walk 10 minutes or so and start getting pain in the dorsiflexion when I step off the ball of my foot. I am still struggling with an even gait especially when it is fatigued, so I am still using a cane or crutch if I am on my feet longer than 10-15 minutes.

Works good. Will not fit with soccer shoes.
I sprained my ankle this past Saturday, I was wearing a compression ankle sleeve which worked but since my ankle got swollen it was painful to put on and take off. It's already Tuesday just received the ankle brace and man it made a difference. It helped with the discomfort and I am not limping any more. Would buy again and recommend.FYI it will not fit with soccer shoes but Nike LeBrons fit, it looks bulky but at least I can wear shoes.

đź’Ż worth it!
I love this brace. It’s super easy to put on. The laces pull tight and snug down in 2 Velcro sections. Then I flip the cross pieces overtop the foot and attach them onto either side of the ankle. Finally, the last Velcro pieces come from behind and close over the top, keeping everything in place. Nothing to get pulled or snagged!!It’s very comfortable to wear, highly supportive, easy to apply for those with limited mobility. The stability offers a great amount of pain relief, which makes it invaluable, as less pain = less pain medicines. The price is great.I tried several other braces, this is the best I have found by far.I definitely recommend.
