Because it had a backing that would adhere to itself, I was able to put it on the doors of my automobile without any difficulty. I was able to determine straight away that the strip was going to do its function in an efficient manner since it attached firmly there. Even after several openings and closings of the vehicle doors, this weather stripping product did not come off and remained in place, in contrast to other weather stripping products that I have used in the beginning. As someone who drives a pickup truck, I can attest to the fact that these vehicles can be rather loud, particularly when traveling at higher speeds. The change, on the other hand, was remarkable after this rubber seal strip was installed. This resulted in a greatly decreased amount of road noise, which made the driving experience much calmer and more pleasurable. Despite the fact that I had to turn up the volume in order to drown out the noise from the outside, I was able to hear the music that was playing on my stereo. Considering that I live in a region that has a lot of precipitation, I was afraid that water may get into my vehicle during storms. Since the installation of this device, I have not had any problems with water leaks in any way. The inside of my vehicle is kept dry and pleasant regardless of the weather conditions outside since it efficiently seals off moisture and prevents moisture from entering.

Excellent. Noticeable difference in lowering road noise. Need to by again to do back doors. Hope it lasts. Only had for a few weeks. Install easy. Worked for me.

Defiantly help with sound reduction from the outside but they honestly do not have any stickiness to then so get your own double sided tape but yeah

I was shocked at how easy and clean this stuff is! My son locked his keys in the car and bought his own air mat thing to open the door…then next time I’m in the car, it sounds like the door might as well be open! Now, I love the idea of fixing things to just get by h til the real repair, but if it looks patched up in any way, I am never on board…and I had never applied this stuff to anything, so needless to say, I wasn’t super hopeful. Well, this stuff went on easy, very neatly blended in with existing, and no more wind tunnel in the car! Super impressed, definitely recommend!

did not work for my needs

Hi everybody! I’m so happy the package has finally arrived. I was liking so much the price for the amount of feet’s. This fits all my car and I don’t need more. I cannot say if it is durable or not but anyway for the price it will be a good thing if it works more than a week. Seeking the material I can tell right now that it will works decently. It brings little car cleaning pads to use before the installation but I was cleaning well my car before and put rubbing alcohol letting well dry and it looks the glue is working. What I can confirm is the reduce noise, and that’s what I care about this order. Sorry for the bad review to seller, I thought this package will never arrive and now I don’t know how to change the review.

Didn’t help at all to keep air out…really disappointed…i have nothing to return…so I’m just out the money

This is a good rubber seal to replace or add to automotive doors where similar rubber seals are used. I applied some to a rear van door on an older Ford van and added it to the weather stripping on an older Dodge pickup. It helps with wind noise and water leaks.

Pay attention to dimensions. This product was exactly what I needed and the exact length I needed with little extra. Make sure you clean and prep your surface well no dust no oils , as with ANY two sided tape especially 3M VHB tape and it will adhere properly and indefinitely. This seal had a small amount of stretch so it was good around corners, compression was perfect with the correct gap between mating surfaces. Was quite durable during installation on my test piece, during my R and D process was reasonably difficult to remove, after curing for 1 week it required a heat gun a blade and some solvent to completely remove it. Pulling and tearing it off did not work as it would come off in very small chunks. Installed on my camper bunk door which is always exposed to water in the rain and snow Tested in the rain and it stood up very well. Not a drop made it though. I look forward to seeing it’s long term durability.
