A Solid Recovery Option
This portable ice bath tub is great for anyone into fitness or wellness. It’s easy to set up and use, and the size is ideal for both home and outdoor use. The cold plunge is refreshing and provides a good recovery option after intense workouts. While it’s not the most compact option for storing, it makes up for it with its durability and functionality. The tub feels sturdy and holds the cold for a decent amount of time. Overall, it’s a solid product for those looking to invest in cold therapy for recovery, though it’s best suited for regular use rather than occasional sessions.

Great ice bath
Product reviewed ArcticApex Portable Ice Bath Tub for Athletes and Wellness SeekersMy reason for ordering these was I wanted to try this after developing a love for cold water swimming. Save the travel time/cost and not have to clamber over rocks!Pros:Easy to set up - just put the rods in, attach the tap, add the top ring and inflate the sides/topHold a decent volume of water and hold me - 6ft2 and a big blokeBe sure to figure in that your body weight is going to make the water volume rise lolPortableHas a lidVery reasonableCons:None reallyNote: I was lucky enough to receive this product for testing purposes, but I only select items I need/want and rate them honestly. Freezing fun
Item received in good condition in a branded cardboard box. The ice bath comes with some partial building required to set it up for the first use. If like me, once its built it will live in the back garden ready for my torture session at the end of each run.The building of it took 10-15 mins and there are some well written instructions to guide you through the process. Once set up it was hosepipe in and fill it up time. Remember to not fill to the top as when you get in the level will rise.As a cold water/ice bath it works great although I hate it I also know it is very good for my recovery after runs so I stick with it despite my dislike.I like the fact this one comes with a lid that elastic attaches around the top a little like a shower cap on your head. This helps keep dirt, debris and insects/animals out of your water. I know lots of ice baths don't come with lids so this is an added bonus. The bath is pretty sturdy and feels robust enough and will stand up to the job.

Compact and robust ice bath
This ice bath tub comes in relatively small packaging which was a little bit of a surprise, but once I opened it up it became quite obvious that the tub is not as substantial as I first thought. Not so much an issue for me though as I am always tight for space at home so the more compact, the better. The material does feel robust, however, and is easy to set up.All you need to do is unfurl the tub itself, place the white rods through the holes down the sides, screw in the drainage tap and then inflate the top ring with the supplied hand pump. You then fill up the bath making sure your drainage tap is closed and away you go. I did have concerns regarding how sturdy it would be but once you fill it up with icy water it remained rigid and made quite a comfortable little bath. The inflated ring at the top makes a big difference!Unsurprisingly, the bath did not leak but I did make quite of a mess in the kitchen after over-filling it as I did not take into account the volume my body takes! If you do intend to use this indoors, just make sure that you can run a hose from the tap so that you can run the water away as the clearance of the tap to the floor is pretty small and you will have trouble emptying it unless you are willing to bail the water out with a bucket which will take an age.All in all, very happy with how this ice bath has turned out and feel that the price of £39.99 is actually very reasonable for a sturdy, leakproof yet portable product for exercise recovery.

Split on a seam after 2 days
Unfortunately this split almost straight away. It's not possible to inflate the top ring to become round. It sits (at best)as a pentagon. The seams obviously were the weak point rather than the non-return valve when trying to get the top to inflate as per the images
