The last two times the car brake switch stopper broke, I replaced it with whatever I had on hand, which happened to be plastic car interior panel fasteners that look similar and fit in place but do not have the same thickness and therefore durability. Finally I picked up the correct part - these Mandark brake switch stoppers - and they look and fit like the original OEM part, and are holding up much better than the makeshift replacements I was using previously.
