Excellent Portable SSD w/Hub! I use it while recording 4k on my iPhone 17 pro max. It's also connect my DJI mic into the hub with no problem. It is small and sleek and adds no weight to my setup. Transferring footage to my computer is no issue with this setup and is fast. Highly recommend, and is needed accessory for filmmakers and content creators.

An excellent choice for SSD storage. Pops right into my iPhone USB C port and is easily recognized for file transfers. It provides ample room for huge ProRes video files. All pros - no cons.

Having just moved into filmmaking on my iPhone this SSD has been a life - and storage - saver. Convenient, fast, discreet. Can’t believe so much comes in such a small package.

Recording 8k 30 fps video directly to the SSD works on my Samsung S23 Ultra and presumably other android phones. You just need either the Samsung camera assistant app (found in the galaxy store, it allows recording straight to the SSD in the stock Samsung camera app) or a third party camera app like MotionCam or Blackmagic Camera if not on a Samsung or if you want more control over quality. It is fast enough to film the highest quality your phone can output. Works with just the SSD and also works with the hub and connector. Able to charge my phone and use the SSD with the hub. It hasn't caused me any issues yet but it does run a little warm even when not recording.

Es algo muy bien construido muy rápido al usar, muy pequeño para cargar en cualquier lugar y lo uso mucho para mi iPad y mi iPhone, con esta memoria puedo sacarle el mejor provecho a mi iPhone en videos muy muy contento

OK so this thing is really essential if you are using apps like Blackmagic cam or others that record HQ video. These files can easily run into 30-40g and will end up overloading your phone if you try to save on the normal drive. In addition Airdropping or trying to transfer those files to your computer to edit would take hours. I do really like how you can easily pop it out of your phone and into the computer straight into your video editing software and having the additional USB C inputs are useful for live charging or plugging in accessories such as microphones. BUT The Lexar device is extremely finicky and sometimes the slightest tap or movement will disconnect it from your phone which is frustrating. I'm not sure the reason but I suspect it could have a rather short battery life. If you are plugging in extra devices such as microphones into it then it will drain even faster. For these reasons I have just defaulted to ALWAYS having it plugged into a USB charger.. which can get a bit annoying if I'm wireless or if the plug interferes with the angle of my phone. But all in all I think this is definitely worth getting if you are serious about video editing.
