This bit bores into concrete with ease. I drilled 25 4-5” holes into fully cured concrete, and the last hole went as quickly and easily as the first. I was actually startled at how fast it cut into the footings — almost as fast as drilling dense wood.Combined with a heavy-duty hammer drill, this bit works GREAT, and it doesn’t show any signs of wearing out yet.

I bought this bit just to make the concrete slab weaker before hammering it and to break in my makita rotary hammer. I drilled about 50 holes so far in 4-5 inch concrete. Did the job with no problem and does not look worn at all. For the price it was a great investment for me.

Excellent bit, was drilling to set foundation bolts in relatively new concrete the first day and the bit just sunk in like drilling in dirt - actually went a little too deep it was so fast. Nice bit, good length.
