This is a very well made camera with all the features I was looking for, I like the style and its functionality. But I’m giving it 3 stars because the screensaver is too bright when driving at night, no matter where on the windshield I mount it, it’s too much bright light right on my face and it’s distracting and annoying. I wish they had made it so that the brightest could be adjusted or have the option to just have a blank screen.Update:I changed my review from 3 stars to 5 because immediately after I shared my experience, I received a message from the manufacturer apologizing for the issue I was having. This tells me they take customer’s feedback seriously and want to improve on their product. After I replied to them, they sent me another message, assuring me that they will take care of the issue in future models. For this reason alone, they deserve 5 stars.

After watching a few youtube videos about dash cams, I bought wolfbox X5 as the qulity of the recording and this model can still stick to the windshield and keep recording in an accident.It is easy to install, and I did it in less than an hour as a first time. But you need to be careful about the direction of the rear camera, you may install it upside down. Though they already predicted it so they hava a built in function to adjust that. But I still want to change it back to the right direction. That was when I found their sticker is pretty solid, you can not redo it.It came with a cigarette lighter as the power connector to the car, but my car only USB-A in the front, fortunately I have one lighter at the back set. It was not that convenient. But a least it works. If you only have USB-A or USB-C in your car, you need to think it twice. By the way the cable is long enough to go all the way to the back set.The most frustrating part is that the dash cam froze a few minutes after I fully installed it. I tested all it's function before installation. It worked well at that stage. It came in pretty good shape, so I assume it was not the shippment. So I contact their customer service with their phone number in the box. Their customer service is good, but they need me to make a video to show them how the dash cam froze. Hoping they could fix it, as I am pretty sure it was not the temperature. As I tried a few times from 40°F to 70°F, it froze anyway.I got a replayment from them. After the replayment has settled in my car for almost a month. I am pretty satisfaced this one as the quality of the video is good, function well and easy to download the videos. Also you could turn off the in car camera if you do not need it easily.

Great picture, easy install, easy to use. Came with a pre-formatted 128gb sd card. The interior camera works great in pitch blackness thanks to the IR emitters. If I have any concern at all, it is with the mounting method and how it will endure the hot Georgia sun. Pictures show the size relative to the rear view, and one of the modes which is time/date. The screen is rather small, but the app that you use with the camera connected to it through wi-fi allows a larger screen to view, manage, download files etc. Only downside is - wireless CarPlay has to be off while connected to the camera in that method. Voice controls work well, and you can easily swipe between cameras to focus on all, one or none of the cameras. None brings up a clock and date mode which I like.

I’ve only had this installed for about a week but I am happy with it so far. The installation was pretty easy. Hardest part was feeding the rear camera cord thru my 2014 Prius but with some perseverance I was able to get it sorted. I bought this along with the hardwire kit which was also very easy to install. Camera quality seems good so far, but the screen is quite small. I have yet to download videos to a computer to test their image quality. I found it easy to connect to my iPhone using the WiFi feature. Overall at just under $200 I think this is a good value for money.

After going through a 2 hour long process of setting up the camera it freezes up and doesn’t work. Attempt to use the camera again a couple hours later and the camera doesn’t turn on at all. SAVE YOUR $300 AND HOURS OF YOUR LIFE AND DONT BY THIS CAMERA!

We received our Wolfbox X5 camera from Amazon, several days earlier than expected. The installation instructions are clear and straight forward. The user’s guide walks you through each function of the camera’s features including the voice commands. The touch screen also provides a user interface for viewing system settings, etc. The STARVIS 2 sensor, provides exceptional color and quality video. The app from Wolfbox downloaded and the phone connected to the X5 Wi-Fi on the first attempt. The Wi-Fi download to the phone is somewhat restrictive, so it may be easier to remove the SD card and import the files directly to a computer. We mounted the “rear” camera on the left mirror facing rearward. We like the advanced features including 24 hour recording which monitors the activities when parked at a truck stop. We are very impressed with this Wolfbox X5 camera kit and recommend it as a very useful tool for Semi trucks, RV, and cars and trucks in general.

The Wolfbox Dash Cam is impressively compact and sleek, making it a great addition to my car without being obtrusive. The settings are user-friendly, and the video resolution is clear and sharp, capturing all the details I need.However, the included film sticker for mounting didn’t adhere well to my windshield. I ended up setting it up without the sticker and used an additional adhesive sticker for better stability. Overall, it’s a great dash cam, but the mounting accessory could be improved.

By far this dash cam has way better quality than most other dash cams and the mobile app works, looks good and is simple to use.
