For about 200 bucks (at the time of this writing) the buyer receives a fairly accurate skeleton that looks to be made of solid grade material. The stand is a bit flimsy but take care how you roll it around and it should be fine. Easy to assemble - it took all but 10-15 minutes from out-of-the-box to completion.As a student of anatomy and physiology having your own skeleton to observe and work with pays dividends during/after each and every use. Lab time at the university is great but it's much more convenient to have both lab materials and home materials to choose from.Some of the bone markings are difficult to discern. The majority are visible and with that the skeleton scores high. However, if your A & P instructors are sticklers for each and every boney depression, articulation, hole or prominence you'll need additional reference material to help identify. This is my only "gripe" about this product, but it is a small gripe and on the whole this skeleton is a good deal and has much to offer.
