Soo good!!
Off-Piste Ghost Chili plant-based jerky 1.8oz limited edition high protein healthy snacks vegan jerky low carb soy and gluten free non-gmo. This resealable packet arrived like-new and with a cute retro-robot design. The bag is medium-small in size and about half-full but that’s common of most jerky brands these days. The back instructs to use within 3 days of opening, fyi.The cubes are flat and look like regular jerky. I’m strictly a meat-eater myself but at these prices?!? Who can afford real jerky these days?! I was SHOOK by how good this is!! And it is SPICY so be warned! I had flaming diarrhea the following day so make sure to eat in small batches if you have a sensitive tummy.I can’t get over how well they nailed the texture! It’s unlike anything plant-based I’ve ever tried. It’s soft but chewy and fibrous and mouthwatering. I want to try their other flavors! I took a star off for the value(12$ a pack) which could be better, imo, for a plant-based product.

Tasty and good texture.
Tasty and satisfying. It’s hard finding vegan jerkey that holds a candle to the real stuff. But the texture is tough enough, flavors are good, shape is somewhat close to beef jerkey cuts

Decent jerky...
I love jerky. It's the only thing I missed since I stopped eating meat back in '93. Luckily, there are quite a few decent vegetarian or vegan alternatives. The best thing, imo, is the flavor. It's not as strong as I'd like, but overall decent. The issues are...1. Price: It's very expensive at $25 for three bags.2. Amount per bag : the pieces are very small and the bags only contain 1.8 OZ. These bags should have double to triple the amount for the price.3. Texture: They're very tough to chew. Not necessarily a bad thing, but there were times a felt like I was chewing on a little piece of a leather belt. One you've chewed to the point it starts to rip apart, it becomes must better. There are jerky's I prefer out there, and I'll choose one those next time I order some. There are also many that are a lot worse. If you've got an extra $25 lying around or a gift card you're trying to use, give them a try, or get some Noble Jerky and you'll get a lot more for the money.

A satisfying substitute for meat
I don't eat a lot of beef jerky because I don't really like the toughness and the inevitable amount of material that requires manual intervention to remove from my teeth. I like the taste, but the effort usually overrides that. This plant based version solves all that. It's kinda like it they took beef jerky, and chopped it up a bit before pressing it into little pieces. It's still tough-ish, but has a slight crumbly texture that makes it easier to chew than the leathery real thing. That also greatly reduces the stuff that gets stuck in the teeth, too.Flavor-wise, I don't think I could tell if I didn't know this was plant based. The teriyaki flavor is strong, the smell is right, and there's no unusual aftertaste. It's certainly the best plant/meat substitute I've tried since the phenomenon began. It's not identical to beef jerky, but if you squint, you can see it from there.

Chewy Texture and Spicy Heat That Smells Like It Could Be Meat
The Off-Piste Plant-Based Jerky comes in chewy bite-sized pieces that bring a lot of heat from the red chili pepper and ghost chilis. As a plant-based jerky, the texture is impressive: chewy but not extremely dry as some jerkies can be. The aroma seems spot-on with salty and smoky components. I like a couple of pieces of jerky with a salad and these would make a spicy snack sure to wake you up during that mid-afternoon lull. There are about 15 pieces per pack and about 3 months before the “best by” date on my bags, although they should be eaten within 3 days once the pack is opened. This is a product of New Zealand.

Tasty, Filling, Chewy! Perfect snack!
I've tried a couple of other plant based jerkys before and this is now my favorite! It's surprisingly filling. Just a couple of bites can hit the spot, so it's a perfect snack. It's chewy just like a jerky. I love that the ingredients are really clean. I also love that it doesn't make your hands sticky like some other vegan jerkys, so perfect to take on the go. And the flavor is YUM. The original flavor is by far my favorite - it's super flavorful without being overpowering. I love the Sweet & Hot flavor too - the perfect little kick and great taste. Teriyaki was really good too, but I'd almost prefer it to have just a bit more punch in it, but still really good. Lastly, I love that it's soy-free and am recommending it to a friend with a soy allergy!

Not worth the money due to very little product in bag for price. Paying for air
These are good, but the package was 2/8 full. All air in bag with less than a handful of jerky. Not a good purchase. Two stars just because they do taste good.
