TYMO Automatic Rotating Curling Iron, TYMO CURLPRO Beach Waves Hair Curler

I LOVE this! I am a terrible "girl"... I have long hair but could NEVER be coordinated enough to style it well myself with a curling iron, and would always burn myself, so I have used a curling BRUSH instead for many years. I came across this online somehow, and figured it was worth a try. There is a slight learning curve to it, but it really does a great job of simplifying the process, produces the BEST and most beautiful curls that last, almost effortlessly once you get the hang of it, and it's cool to the touch on the outside, so no more burns on my ears, forehead or scalp! I probably won't use it every day, but definitely for going out on the town when I want to feel extra beautiful. I highly recommend this curler. (And I should note that I also have tried a few similar models from another popular brand offered here in the Amazons, but can honestly say that this is the best one and the keeper for me. (curls fall out of the others more easily and don't last as long, although there's one that can be used easily as a curler AND a straightener.... see my review for that one as well. I did keep that one since it worked really well to straighten my hair when I did my own Brazillian blowout / keratin treatment at home. So I'll keep that one to straighten, but use this one for the curls)

This is the best! I was a little hesitant about this product until I used one my friend has. She showed me how to use it and it so easy to use - even for me. My hair is thin, fine and never holds a curl! This CurlPro works wonders. My hair is medium length- almost to my bra strap - and since it is fine and thin, I got the smaller 1" barrel - the one my friend has is the 1 1/4 " and her hair is longer and a bit thicker than mine. This size worked perfect. The curls last for days - I sleep with my hair in a loose bun and that helps hold the curl too. I like that it has 3 different temperature settings and also auto shut-off. If you are on the fence about this - get it!!! Great price too!

I watched a few reels on this and thought it looked so easy! As soon as I received it, I tried it and oh my goodness, it was just as easy as they all said. It never pulled or tangled up my hair, it’s amazing and the curls were perfect. I couldn’t believe it. It took me like 5-8 mins to do all of my hair. Crazy! I’ve never had a product actually live up to the hype this has had! I love it! I also love that it beeps to tell you when it’s done! Wouldn’t change a thing! NOT SPONSORED - just a great product!

Ok, so recently I've been bombarded with ads for this thing. I tend to not believe ads but I was intrigued... My hair is thick and straight and doesn't take or hold a curl well. I've never been a girlie-girl so fussing with my hair or using a bunch of products to get my hair perfect is out of the question. I'm also getting older so my agility and coordination are not what they used to be. The automatic function of this curling tool is what got my attention - that and the enclosed barrel that won't burn my head or fingers. So I went to YouTube to see actual reviews by actual people not affiliated with or sponsored by TYMO. I watched probably 15-20 videos and finally decided to take the plunge. The day this arrived was day two after washing my hair. I didn't know if slightly oily hair would work but decided to give it a try anyway, and OH. MY. GOD!!!! I am SO HAPPY I bought this! It was relatively easy to use (remember - not a girlie-girl!) and the results were amazing! The hardest part was finding the groove in the mirror (remember - NOT coordinated!) but even while getting the hang of it I was able to touch every part of the wand and barrel without burning myself. The button that changes the rotation of the barrel is genius. It took me about 20-25 minutes to do my whole head of chest length hair. The curls lasted through that day even after a nap (remember - I'm old!), through sleeping on them that night, and were still wavy through the next day. I could've gotten at least another day out of them had I started with clean hair, but by day 4 I was feeling gross, even if my hair didn't look gross. The only con I've experienced so far after using this for about 2 weeks is that my bangs are too short and consist of mostly stick-straight coarse gray hairs that are extremely difficult to curl. I tend to end up with one large curl that wants to flop back into my face. If I was more adept at using product I could probably fix that. Right now I'm back combing and spraying to get them to stay in place. When they grow out a bit it shouldn't be a problem. All the videos I watched had women with long hair or all one length hair so I didn't see any that showed how to handle bangs. I'll have to go watch again... but in the meantime, the pros WAY outweigh that one minor con. I'm really happy with this purchase. It really DOES work like the ads say... amazingly. I haven't used any heat shield or other products to enhance or keep the curls and they stay just fine. I've since ordered heat shield just to protect my hair, so we'll see if that changes anything with the longevity of the curls. If you're on the fence - GET IT! With the Amazon free return policy you're not out anything if you don't like it.

This thing is amazing! It was so easy to use and cut curling time in HALF. No having to wear a burn glove, no touching the curling wand and burning yourself, and the guard protects you the entire time. It is so easy to use and every curl comes out perfect, the same curl pattern throughout. Sometimes I twist my hair different ways etc with a curling iron and get all different kinds of curls but with this they are absolutely perfect. Three heat settings and the reverse switch makes it to wear the curls are going the same direction on both sides of your face. There is nothing I would change about this product. You can leave the curls intact or brush gently for beautiful waves. Perfect for any occasion.

This curling iron is amazing! My daughter wanted to curl her hair but i have always veen worried of her burning herself. She saw this curling iron and wanted it since last year and we decided to purchase it for her birthday. It is super easy to use, hair does not get caught and curls with in seconds. Love how it will beep with in second to let you know to remove hair. My daughter has long hair and the 1inch barrel curls her super straight hair perfectly. Here curls also last. Longer then a few hours.

I totally figured this was going to be another of the many hair appliances I buy but ends up in my closet graveyard. But, I actually like the Tymo rotator curling iron... to a point. After a short learning curve, it does make curls that I've been forever trying to figure out with a regular curling iron or flatiron. That said, I think it's best on longer hair. I have hair above my shoulders and some curls came out great, the others didn't, depending on the layers. The other thing is that I noticed the curls didn't last long. Maybe a hair product can help with that. Since I'm growing my hair out, I'll keep it and try to perfect my technique. What's a great feature is that you would really have a hard time burning yourself. You can put the tool right up to your head and its not warm. The curls do come out of it warm. My advice is to not touch the curls, especially when warm, and eventually only run your fingers through them. One side I used just my fingers and the other I brushed like I saw in an ad, and I think that eliminated a lot of the body of the curls.

Easy to use and saves a lot of time

I have always wanted curly hair. When i was younger i wanted an 80s perm. As i got older it evolved through corkscrew and now I'm in my "beach waves" era. Sadly though I have not very much, very fine hair. And zero skills. So the only time I have pretty curls is when the hairdresser does my hair. OMG this product is amazing. It just does it. Great curls, zero effort OR skill. Also, super quick because I'm also very impatient. I really can't recommend this product enough. Also, the device is very pretty. I also have the TYMO straightener brush which is brilliant. And they're both dual voltage for the wannabe jetter setter in me.
