Review: My 90 year old father uses this for pain caused by his artificial hips replacement. - My 90 year old father who is limping but still working hard uses this supplement at double the dosage for reducing his pain caused by his metal hip replacement. My father is a big advocate of natural supplements, but I rarely find a supplement that delivers significant results. This blend of Glucosamine 1500mg Plus MSM and Hyaluronic Acid seems to produce a much better results in reducing pain than other formulas I have ordered. Since we purchased many brands in the past, it appears the MSM must be playing a big role in the reduction of the pain. Perhaps this review might help anyone who may be suffering from hip pain, especially with an artificial hip (he had the hip surgery over 20+ years ago). Three big tips we have fortunately discovered for helping our elderly father in dealing with the pains and aches of old age: 1) Needs to be used daily for over 30 days. 2) Depending on pain, dosage may need to increased. My father 's dosage is doubled, before he got pain relief. 3) He also takes Life Extension Super Bio Curcumin Bcm-95 400 mg Capsules for his muscular aches and pains, especially his neck pains. (Combining this with Schiff Glucosamine 1500mg Plus MSM and Hyaluronic Acid has produced wonderful results in using them daily for this last year (2018). So far, these are the only two products we have found that really do work for my elderly father! (Quick glucosamine test- add tabs to ~ 1/2 warm water and wait 30 minutes. Whatever is not dissolved is what you'll generally pass out through your GI tract - flushing your money. The Schiff product dissolves completely- is available for absorption.) 3 tabs/1500 mg means 500 mg/tab - makes it easier to dose my pets at appropriate levels. (It's trickier to do so if you use the 2 tabs/1500 mg tablets.) (NB: DO consult your vet prior to giving to your dogs. My 90 year old father who is limping but still working hard uses this supplement at double the dosage for reducing his pain caused by his metal hip replacement. My father is a big advocate of natural supplements, but I rarely find a supplement that delivers significant results. This blend of Glucosamine 1500mg Plus MSM and Hyaluronic Acid seems to produce a much better results in reducing pain than other formulas I have ordered. Since we purchased many brands in the past, it appears the MSM must be playing a big role in the reduction of the pain. Perhaps this review might help anyone who may be suffering from hip pain, especially with an artificial hip (he had the hip surgery over 20+ years ago).
