Amazing for cooking

This is a good quality avocado oil that behaves like avocado oil should. It doesn’t introduce any odd flavors to food, it has a high smoke point, and it feels lighter than seed oils like canola. I can’t vouch for the included recipe eBook, but I have not had any issues using avocado oil wherever I would have used sunflower, canola, or “vegetable” oil in the past.

Excellent product

Considering how expensive olive oil and avocado oil is getting nowadays, this is actually not a bad deal at all. While this avocado oil comes into a plastic bottle rather than a glass bottle, it's easy to just squeeze the oil out and measure more accurately. The oil is great for pan cooking (I tried it with tofu, paneer and vegetables among other things) and it doesn't smoke nearly as much as EVOO. The only "issue" that I have with this kit of two bottles is that the caps are a bit bent and twisted. When I opened the first bottle, part of the cap fell into my hand and I had to put it back on, and it's held fine... so far. I assume this bending happened during shipping or transport. I deeply appreciate that this avocado oil is made in Mexico (very near Texas where I'm at) and seems of high quality. Of the same brand, I also enjoy their avocado oil vinaigrettes for salads and various dishes.

I love that not only can the oil be used for both savory and sweet dishes but it can also be used straight from the bottle to make dressings and mayonnaise and also when cooking including roasting, baking, searing, and sautéing as it has a smoke point of 500 degrees Fahrenheit. The oil has a rich and buttery flavor. I have used it to roast vegetables, stir-fry meat and vegetables, and to make a salad dressing. I like that it can add a richness to every dish that I added it to. There are about 53 servings per container with each 1 tablespoon serving containing 120 Calories,14g Total Fat, 0g Total Carbohydrate, and 0g Protein. It is a Non-GMO Project Verified Product of Mexico. The product that I received has a best by date of 13 months from the date that I received it. This oil is exceptional. It has no flavor or smell of its own, which makes it perfect for virtually any cooking adventure. I tried it for dipping bread with herbs and its mouth feel is soft and smooth. It's a great compliment to whatever you want to use it with. It doesn't have any avocado flavor, nor the green flavor associated with olive oil and some other organic oils. I wanted to try it at high heat. I used it to sauté the herbs, garlic, and onions I use to make my chili base, in a very hot skillet. I cook the herbs until they are nearly burnt to release their flavors. The oil performed well and did not smoke. I'm very happy with this oil and it may spoil me for other oils!

Ordered the Chosen Foods 100% Pure Avocado Oil in a squeeze bottle, 2 pack. Each bottle is 27 ounces. At the time of order in October 2024 the price was about $33.00. Strengths: 1 Very good price for two 27 ounces bottles. Avocado oil is not cheap! 2 Neutral flavor oil. 3 The squirt top is so handy! Aim the oil were you want it; comes out smoothly with no drip. 4 I used it to fry veggie burgers at a fairly high temperature. No smoking or burning. Drawbacks: None at this point. Overall: If you are a frequent user of avocado oil, this is a solid purchase.
