This toner fixed my bleach fail! I already knew I wanted to try this 8a at some point because I thought it looked beautiful and I wanted to try some Brad Mondo products, but I screwed up my hair and this really fixed my mistakes. I know it can’t cover it forever but now I can plan what I want to do with my hair next and I still have more for another application.I have a lot of thick shoulder length hair and I screwed up my highlights and money piece. This blended everything together with my orangey and yellow bits and my natural color enough to make my hair wearable and even cute. It’s like an ashy darker dirty blond right now.Anyway my hair feels great and I am excited to experiment with these. I’ve always loved watching Brad and messing with my hair but I never really needed any of his products until he came out with these natural toner glosses. I’m glad to support him and I just grabbed the fragrance too because it smells so fresh.

I’m a natural ginger complete with ginger frizz. I was looking for something that would tone down my natural brightness and calm the frizz, I use olaplex and a blower brush for my day to day routine, I usually have to choose between conditioning treatment or color. This is a game changer, it is kinda messy, that is expected for a deposit only color, but it smells great. It calmed down my obnoxious ginger and toned it down to a richer more balanced (actually looks more natural than natural) color while maintaining my hairs health. One jar will easily last me 3 treatments and that is a deal for me.

I’m truly upset by the outcome I had with this product. I watch Brad mondo and have for years. I was truly so excited when he came out with hair dye. $30 for a little tub of hair dye is a lot for me so it took me a while to buy it. I finally did. I used it with the exact directions. I’ve done my hair many times before without missing spots and I made sure to soak every hair strand. Left it in for the 20. When I got in the shower the first thing I noticed that I didn’t like was it was staining my hands my tub and my whole body. It took every bit of 30 mins to get my hair even somewhat clear. I got out and I was very upset by the results. My hair is so incredibly uneven. I understand how hair works and I understand that if parts of your hair are more porous those strands will grab onto color more. My hair is not extremely damaged nor dry. And this is not a problem I’ve had in the past with ANY dyes I’ve used. Whether it was $3 permanent box dye or semi permanent professional color. My hair also feels dryer than it did before and did not give me any of the benefits it claims to. The top 3/4 of my hair are a medium brown but the ends of my hair are extremely dark and it looks horrendous.I’ll still watch Brad mondo I love his videos but I won’t be ordering again.

Ok so this ended up turning my hair black. Keep in mind I put it on blonde /orange hair. I tried the 5G and it was perfect.i loved it. However it faded after a couple washes n looked too orange for me. I tried to balance it out with the 5n but it’s BLACK, not brown. Other than that great product just don’t put on blonde hair. Level 6 and lower. Maybe 7 . Hopefully it’ll fade fast but the 5n is really stubborn n won’t fade a lot.

I don't typically review products like ever unless I experience a severe issue, but I wanted to give my feedback on how well this has worked for me for my own needs anyway.I am about 7 months pregnant and have been using most of my pregnancy to stop dyeing my hair with permanent black dye so I can do something different next year. Unfortunately between baby shower events, maternity shoots and just my daily life growing bigger and bigger I have not felt very pretty most days and don't want to feel that way in photos. My hair grow out just felt embarrassing. I really had very little hope for a semi permanent black product to do anything to my virgin roots but this has actually stuck through several washes. It isn't as black on virgin hair as the rest of my hair obviously but it has removed that harsh line that was really detrimental to my self esteem, and in person I can't see the difference .There's so much product in this jar is can do my roots for probably a whole year lol. I will say, it stains your skin like crazy if you're not careful, which I didn't expect for a colored mask. Wear gloves and clean it up with alcohol. It really made my roots soft and glossy like you expect as well, I imagine using this product over all virgin hair would still like amazing, but it blends my line of demarcation great!
