I'm doubtful of it's longevity
This type of plastic doesn't generally age or weather well, I'm still using it but not on anything production/ mission critical

Not exactly "FLEXIBLE"
This is a good quality, sturdy riser. And arrived very quickly. I would have given 5 stars, but it is NOT what I expected. A more detailed description on the item would have been very helpful. This item is so sturdy that it is not really very flexible at all. So it is good quality & likely very durable, but if you need to make much of a bend at all it may not do the job. One row of my sprinklers arranged by previous owner along a new fence line are all sitting at quite an angle and therefore do not spray & cover properly. He apparently built the fence without considering the original position of the sprinkler heads and did not leave clearance for them. So he just dug the sprinklers up and tilted them - ridiculous. I thought that I could use this "flexible" connection to fix the problem, but they are so sturdy they will not bend enough. I will keep them just because one never knows when they may need spare parts for another use, but am left with the problem.

Not UV resistant. This will crack if exposed to sunlight
In southern california, i used a few of these in my yard where they were above-ground and exposed to daylight. After about 2 years, all started to crack and leak. I didn't expect such poor performance from an outdoor sprinkler pipe! Perhaps they'd work better underground? Regardless, I do not recommend.

Better Than Hard Plastic
This item comes in 6" and 4" versions. The hard plastic version is 6" long and can be cut to whatever length you might need. However, it is much easier to break the hard plastic risers. The flexible risers are more difficult to break unless that is someone's intention, in which case there is no obvious benefit, one over the other. But for normal pedestrian traffic the flexible versions are better.

Firm but flexible
I got tired of the risers breaking. Before, the risers were those break-off kind and they certainly did a lot of breaking. These solved the problem.
