Never tried any gel energies and currently training for a fitness competition. Tried these for the first time during a practice simulation; impressive! Slips easily into a pocket or sports bra. Easy to open and consume. Tastes just like if you were going to consume a spoonful of honey from the jar. No weird after taste, not gritty. Smooth. I thought it might make me gag but it did not. Sweet and easy to swallow. I took it before going onto the treadmill and found myself not running out of steam midway through my run. Gives that boost without jitteriness or crash. I plan on using these for my competition.

I’ve recently started endurance training and as my distance has increased I’ve decided to give gels a try. Gave these a go after a 5 mile run and towards my 6th mile I could definitely feel an increase in energy, I was picking up my pace. Unfortunately I had to cut my run short but I finished a 10k strong. Deducted a star because the taste is decent but has a bitter after taste that if taking without drinking something can be quite off putting. Will likely try different gels mainly due to the taste, but for the price, I highly recommend if you’re just getting into gels like myself! Also, the package arrived busted open at the bottom, I didn’t deduct a star for that, just noting that it happened

I'm amazed! I tried these today on an aggressive trail training for a trail 10k. I'm soon to be 66 years old and started running 4 months ago (after brisk walking for a year). At 3 miles in I downed 3/4th of a tube and after a few minutes I had MUCH more energy. I simply ran stronger for another half hour. I'm sold. I will keep these on me every time I run (which is every other day). The taste was SWEET and a little different but not in a negative way -- I'm just not used to it. A hearty 5 stars from 'ol Cosmos.

Just bought 3 24 packs of honey stinger gels. Great product, but count what you get. One box only had 17 gels in it. That is not the first time this has happened. At least one other time a box was short of the 24 count. 5 stars for the item, 0 stars for the packaging or their quality control.

I do endurance workouts in the woods on trails. Climbing scrambling up hills with trees etc. and these come in handy. They give you that burst of energy you need without feeling all shaky or weird with a bunch of added things that you don’t need. I love the price and these taste absolutely excellent. They don’t leave any weird after taste. I definitely recommend them if you don’t want to spend a bunch of money and just need a little something when you’re working out.

Honey Stinger works well for me. I use it for running and I feel less tired. The gel melts in the mouth so it is easy to swallow. The flavour is also mild and pleasant.
