Absorption good, they tare easily,Puppy drags them around so sticky not great.No odour, but they are wet to the touch .

We have a now 16 week golden retriever puppy and are going through the house training stage at the moment. We had to delay his vaccinations as he was a bit poorly at first so he wasn't allowed outside until recently. As you can imagine we then needed a lot of puppy pads whilst he was stuck indoors. We tried most brands on the market ranging from pets at home, home bargains, Wilko's and b&m but we decided to try these. We opted for the large size as with the energetic little fluff bundle we have we were using 4 standard size ones until he perfected his aim. These would always scatter the moment the zoomies hit or sometimes the moment he walked on them! The large ones are about the size of 2 standard size pads if you have had those before. The absorption rate was very quick and best of all we had no soggy mat leaking out underneath onto our laminate flooring! The mats are grey in colour which personally I prefer as I hate seeing the yellow pee spots on the mats! The mats also were wonderful for absorbing any scent from the pee. Can't say we noticed any at all. Overall we are thrilled with these and have to agree with the other reviews that they are the best we have tried so far. Love the fact they come compact in a box and Amazon have also gone to the effort of decorating the box with little bones etc which we thought was cute little touch.

These work quite and does seem to affect the smell I little bit. I don't think they're worth the extra cost as the smell is only reduced a small amount but I guess if cost is not a factor then these are better than any other pad I've tried.I have noticed with other pads you can see when there is pee on them, there is a stain. These do not show any mark so you don't know if your pet has peed or not. This may be a good thing or a bad thing but worth mentioning I guess. Cost is its biggest negative, but they are good pads

Cannot fault the pads and v good quality

Not as good as the white ones. They break down easily and somehow messy when the dog pees on it he walks around with wet paws on my deck.

Very absorbent, much better for our large breed puppy who was missing the edge of his pad all the time, only thing is they are a bit slippy and if he urinates near a edge it does leak a bit, but they are generally super absorbent and the best pads we have tried

Not just for puppy training! We have always lived in an apartment, so our dog has been trained to use a 'potty' litter patch between walks. The only issue is they are usually a nightmare to clean and can get really stinky - but thanks to these carbon pads, life is MUCH easier! I just place a pad under the faux grass on the litter patch, and replace it twice a week. They absorb all the pee without any leaking at all (even when removed) and minimize smell effectively as long as you change frequently.
