Megurism Gentle Steam Hot Eye Mask, No Scent, Pack of 12

I first bought single-use heated eye masks on a whim in Korea, as I'd never heard of them before. The first night I used them I was sold - it's a lovely way to treat yourself and fully relax. When I got back home from my holiday, I realised you can get this Japanese version on amazon easily. The material is soft, and the ear loops stretch easily. There is a little slit for your nose. They fit fine on me and also my partner, who has a larger head than I do. I also do use a microwavable reusable eye mask on occasion, but while reusable masks are obviously more sustainable, they don't emit heat nearly as long, and often cool down quickly. Because these single-use eye makes create a chemical heat, they last for a LONG time! It's basically the same concept as those single-use chemical hand warmers. I'll often put them on at night, and I'm asleep before it gets anywhere near cool. They're not light-blocking, so you can put a regular eye mask over it (although this traps the heat on your eyes). These are my "treat yourself" luxuries, - due to sustainability concerns and also cost, I use them around once or twice a week. Because they pack so flat, they're easy to take with you anywhere, eg I always put one in my purse when I fly.

I have heard of self heated eye masks but never got to try them until today. After scrolling through pages of available products, I decided on purchasing these because they were made in Japan (and many of us know Japanese goods have higher standards and better quality control because they take pride in their products). Product came as described but Amazon did a terrible job at packaging. The two boxes I ordered were in a flimsy Amazon plastic bag and the boxes were all squished beyond recognition. Luckily the eye masks were intact and not affected. Everything on the box is in Japanese but there is a white label on one side with very small prints in English with information such as ingredients, usage direction...etc. I purchased the unscented version and they don't have any weird smell. The material used was really soft and comfortable, not scratchy at all. To use the mask, tear across the top of the foil package, carefully unfold and put the ear loops over the ears and position the mask over the eyes. In a couple of minutes, you will feel the mask heating up. The heat was quite soothing. The temperature was just right and the mask I put on lasted about 25 minutes. When you are done, just toss it into the trash. That's it! My dry, tired eyes feel refreshed after the treatment. I will definitely buy more in the future.

Box arrived wrapped in cardboard so it wasn’t crushed. This mask starts to warm up as soon as you place it on your eyes. Is very soothing. Wish these came in lavender but unscented is fine. Strongly recommend!

These are the best and most expensive eye heat pads. Just enough heat, perfect weight on the eyes. I sleep with these. I am at the point where relaxing with them actually puts me to sleep and blocks out light at the same time. I have tried cheaper brands. These are the best.

I love this I used it a lot when I was in Japan so still buying it and using it for relaxing. It's warm easy to use. Durable and packaging is separate so handy too. Scent is lovely not too much just subtle. Definitely value for money for the quality. Size can be small for big fave peoples.

Used to have dry eyes that gives me daily headaches and now I used them to sleep every night and wake up feeling great.

I am so happy I ordered these hot eye masks for my upcoming trip to Europe. I opened one to try and I can't believe just how soothing they are. The masks have openings to put securely around your ears and they warm up quite quickly. I'm sure I will enjoy them on the long haul portions of my trip. Thank you Aly Smalls for recommending these.

Pedi los que son libres de fragancia. Los uso varias veces a la semana antes de dormir, me relajan muchísimo, si se calientan bastante, entonces creo que cada quien tiene que probar su tolerancia. Pero yo que a veces tengo muy tensa el área alrededor de los ojos se siente delicioso y te relajan mucho. Incluso cuando me está costando trabajo conciliar el sueño, me van a ayudado. También creo que ayudan un poco a que se absorban mejor los productos de Skincare.Los recomiendo totalmente.

Doesn’t stay hot super long but feels great while it does! Very relaxing.
