BUT I have had similar power delivery issues to some others. I originally plugged my 45W laptop powersupply into the dock and the dock into my laptop and the laptop is just running off battery. I read you can use a 100W power supply but I didn't want to buy one so I've ended up with a slightly janky setup - power supply plugged directly into laptop, dock plugged into second usb-c port on my laptop and then a usb-A to usb-C cable going from my laptop to the dock to power it. I'm still in the first day of use but that seems to be working so far.
