I really, really like this tool, a lot. If you've never used one of these before, it's a cross between a traditional round brush and a curling iron/wand. And it works worlds better than either one, and is much simpler to use, and results in much more defined and spiraled curls and waves. This type of tool is especially awesome if you struggle with curling the back of your hair effectively, you essentially start at the roots and start rolling/brushing, pausing periodically, working down to the ends and tucking/winding any stray hairs in and tapping them into place along the heat plates, and gently roll it out of the curl, which then maintains it's shape perfectly. You will especially like this if you have hair that is in various stages of growing out, because you won't end up with odd looking tails and weird pieces that won't blend in, it just rolls all the uneven pieces together nicely. I especially like the fine diameter barrel, irons this thin are getting harder and harder to find. I have super straight difficult to style hair that doesn't hold style well, I do a curled back flat top mullet with a modest cascading waterfall spiral curl down the back, and It usually takes a good bit of time for mediocre results, most irons are too big around to actually create a curl that holds. This was exactly what I was looking for. I love the color and it's lightweight and easy to use, and the temperature holds a nice and steady low heat that doesn't burn or frizz up hair, I like the digital temp readout and always look for that in heat tools. If you struggle with trying to curl shorter hairstyles, definitely try this out with thermal spray and mousse, you will love it.

Works really well for short hair. Adjustable heat control is good, I keep it lower for fine hair. Nice and easy to use, heats up quickly, combs are well spaced.

Great hot brush for short hair. I'm using it first three weeks after haircut (it's 1/2 in) and switch to 3/4 for longer hair. I'm very happy with it but the only thing I don't like is the temperature buttons placed on the handle. That's wrong design, you can easily change the temperature while making your hair. The attached photo shows my old brush I'm still using and you can see where the temperature switch should be located. That's why I took out 1 star. Another very important thing, the brush is hot at 250-285 degrees, no need to set higher temperature! Other than that, I like it.

DO NOT BUY!!! Dangerous. In the first use I could not get my hair untangled from the teeth on this curling iron. It would not budge no matter how hard I pulled. Had to shut off the power button and pull the hairs out a couple at a time. Had to cut the cable so I can deal with the mess in my hair. I almost had a panic attack. Going to bed with a painful headache and less hair.

Use only on SHORT hair. Otherwise long hair will get tangled around the rod. It works fine. This diameter is necessary for short hair to give the hair style an interesting flow.

I loved this curing brush...until it DIED a few weeks ago. I should clarify that it still turns on, but does NOT heat. It's the only curling brush I've found with a small barrel and sturdy bristles. I hate that it doesn't heat and wish there was a fix.

I have ordered several smaller curling brushes and have never been satisfied with any of them. Love this one! Made well, heavy long cord, auto shutoff, heats to 450 degrees……..everything I was looking for! Very satisfied with this one!!

Oh my gosh, I was so hesitant to make this purchase, but so happy I did! I have short, fine , straight hair and have been using a 3/4” curling brush for years. I debated on the barrel size of this brush for quite some time and decided it was now or never. This is the best little styler for short hair. It heats up fast, is easy to use and the results are great..volume and natural looking curl! I highly recommend.

The temperature setting options say it gets really hot 400+ Degrees. This is not the case. The digital display shows the temp, but if it is cool enough to wrap your palm around it for more than 8 seconds without so much as a singe, then it ain't that hot.

I love this curling brush/straightener. It give amazing body and volume.
