Son of God

This book is a common man’s description of the world-changing life of Jesus of Nazareth. It’s is written in an easy to read style and is both enjoyable and uplifting. The emotions of others involved in the events in Jesus’ life are described in a very believable manner. I recommend this book to anyone.

This slender paperback is a very readable novelization of the life of Jesus of Nazareth, mixing different gospel accounts in a breezy narrative that proceeds in small chunks easily digestible for reflective reading. Like the "Son of God" movie that is its source, the book focuses on the identity of Jesus and the reaction of others to him. I recommend it as a solid contemporary novelization of the life of Christ, ideal for people of all ages who want to read a more accessible introduction to Jesus Christ prior to delving into the four gospels.

After viewing both DVDs "The Bible" and "Son of God" ("Son of God" which I much preferred, even though it is part of "The Bible" DVD) this book, with an introduction/forward by Roma Downey is simply beautiful! I keep it on my coffee table in a special place and each time I page through it I feel awesome! It's truly an uplifting book and I would highly recommend adding this treasure to your library! The actor gives it all, the performers are all realistic, the dialogue is correct according to the book of Matthew. Perfect to watch during Lent to receive the full impact of His sacrifice.

The movie was strategicized on identifying the dis-balance of elements that contributed to having Godly people and many elements of society to convince themselves that righteousness is undefined (relative) and that it then can be killed. A also showed that miracles are recognized but unconsciously suppressed.or explained away and de-prioritized, to help maintain a safe reality. Seen in these terms the content of the movie acquires a new value to our beginning the 21st Century.

I give it 5 stars! It told all the details so well you could almost see it. I will gladly recommend the book. We all need to know the truth about our savior and that we have been purchased with such a tremendous price! I also challenge you to read THE HOLE IN OUR GOSPEL by Richard Stearns. This was a great book which I read in one sitting. It gave me joy, & it made me cry... this book is great for everyone to read, believers & non-believers alike. I am Catholic & believe in GOD, JESUS, THE BLESSED MOTHER & ANGELS, so for myself, I thought it was a great book. By the way, the movie was great too!

I loved listening to and reading the words of our Lord. I plan on seeing the movie February 28th. The book is so inspiring and lovingly done. Non believers who have not heard the word will be able to understand what the Lord did for us in birth, death and resurrection, and forgiveness of our sins.

The product information was misguiding as information stated that it had lots of photos which was I purchased the product -- in kindle version and book form. I was very disappointed with the product as there was not a single photo in either the kindle version or the book that was sent to me.Misguided information is published on the reviews and product information of this product.
