Best lip product I’ve tried so far. So hydrating, and such a beautiful color. I love the metal applicator, and the gloss has a cooling/slight plumping effect. I’ll definitely purchase more colors.

I love the indulgence of a glossy lip. I have extremely dry skin and believe the economic principle of “The Lipstick Effect” applies to a time like now. (It is the hypothesis that people buy small goods or small luxury goods during an economic downturn.) Eadem’s Le Chouchou Lip Softening Balm is one of the best. It is deeply moisturizing, exfoliates the dry skin patches on my lips, and leaves a tinted glossy finish. I purchased Burnt Malai— malai means cream in Hindi—and love it. It’s the perfect warm nude and looks natural on my medium olive skin. I am sure that Eadem’s spectrum of shades would suit lighter skin tones and darker tones as well. I am also happy to see that Eadem is a women-owned brand who formulate makeup that considers women of color. I never had makeup to suit me in my younger days. I’m thrilled that Eadem is well-regarded and successful.

The Eadem Chouchou Lip Softening Balm is absolutely gorgeous. I have the shade Burnt Malai, a milky desert rose. Subtle, beautiful, and so flattering. The formula gently exfoliates while keeping my lips incredibly moisturized, and the glossy sheen makes them look instantly smooth and healthy. It feels amazing on, lasts a long time, and has become my everyday go-to. Truly obsessed!

Summary I like this lip treatment, but I wouldn’t say it’s a holy-grail product that completely changes your routine. First Impressions The packaging is clean and the product feels smooth when applied. The tint color was one of the first things I noticed. It feels comfortable on the lips and gives light hydration, but it doesn’t dramatically transform dryness or texture. Only day 2 of using it and I’m already looking to buy more in different colors! This is so hydrating and lasts long. I’m pretty picky with my lip balms/moisturizers as I’ve tried many that either left my lips dry or I’ve had some reaction to it. Not the case with this one, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a lip balm that’s moisturizing with long-wear and adds a little gloss!

To me this is less of a moisturizing treatment and more of a lipstick kind of balm. The color is nice and is definitely noticeable, smells good, but I find other lip treatments to be more softening, moisturizing, and longer lasting than this one. This one is also thicker and stickier than I prefer. I typically wear this over Aquaphor as a pop of color/some more gloss but wouldn't use this alone as a treatment. I've also hear people say the packaging is bad and they've changed the formula and size of the tube so that is disappointing. Mine has been fine so far and the metal applicator is super nice as well. 3 stars since it's expensive and I was expecting a better product for dry chapped lips.

This lip was great! It was super thick and really leaves your lips super moisturized. The Butter Malai one is definitely slightly lighter and more pink than shown in the image but overall a super great lip balm!

My lips keep cracking in the corners especially in winter or when I’m ill. For years and it can be very uncomfortable. This has saved me! And healed my lips entirely. I totally have more confidence. If I could give more stars I would!!!!

Long lasting, pigmented, moisturizing, flexible shades.

I’ve got DOZENS of lip products. You name it, I’ve tried it. I have dryish lips with lots of wrinkles and I’ve tried just about everything to make them smooth and plump. It’s been a long time since I’ve come across a truly good, does what it says, doesn't break the bank lip product like this. My lips are so smooth they look 10 years younger. The colour is just enough for someone who doesn’t look good in most pigmented lip products. It might not be drugstore but it’s definitely still affordable and for how amazing this looks and feels, they can charge me whatever they want for it. I’m already thinking about other colours.

Ever since i got this lip balm i have not used any lipstick as it provides such a decent touch of colour as well as feels moisturizing. I am in love with it and will buy other colours.
