Whilst the idea of snail serum might initially sound ‘icky’ my daughter has been raving about this stuff for a few years now and she found that it reduced acne scarring on her face really effectively. I finally decided to give it a go, more for it’s moisturising properties and because in this particular formulation there are also lots of other goodies for my skin. The bottle is pretty and has a teat pipette which dispenses a mess-free amount onto your fingers. the serum is clear and thick but has no unpleasant scent and it smooths out onto my skin really nicely, getting absorbed incredibly quickly. There is a momentary sense of stickiness which then instantly disappears leaving my skin feeling extremely soft and smooth and lovely! I’m looking forward to seeing if anyone actually notices a difference in my skin enough to comment on it!

This snail mucin serum came nicely presented. The bottle is quite small with the price being quite high. I've used it, and although my skin felt soft after, even hydrated, I felt a bit icky! The ickyness went once it had settled into my skin and dried. I wasn't a massive fan of the texture. I don't know if I'm excited to use it again, but I will probably give it another go because to see proper results, I'd have to use more than once!

I was skeptical about using this at first, but having heard great things about snail mucin I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did since it’s had an amazing impact on my skin. I tend to get very dry and broken skin around my eyes. After a few days of using this in the morning and evening, my skin has really cleared up. This is a wonderful product that I will definitely be buying again. The consistency of the liquid is quite thick, however once you rub it in, it absorbs well into the skin.

It is a beautiful bottle, I love the colour/style. The serum is thick and gloopy so it comes out slow so you can control the amount used. It does leave a sticky residue on your skin which does go away after about 40 minutes. I can't say I noticed any difference on the wrinkles however dry patches and really dehydrated skin it is fantastic for rehydrating and smoothing. So overall 4/5.
