Good product
I really enjoyed using these. They are thinner than the standard grey sheets from art stores but I think because they donโt have that fiber backing. I like that when you carve the color underneath is slightly lighter, allowing you to see where you have carved easily. The rubber is firm but doesnโt crumble like the standard tan / grey sheets and is easy to carve details. I prefer this to the standard pink rubber as that block makes details difficult and bends too much while carving. This one has give like the pink rubber but not as much the details easier. I am still new to block printing but I like this product and will continue using it for a bit.

Great value
Great value for the money, but I was expecting the non-bendable linoleum with the burlap backing on it. Once I got my design on it and started carving I realized that there wasn't really a substantial difference. This linoleum was a little softer, but that was it. Definitely do not regret this purchase at all, gave me great results!

Excellent Material
I love this material for linocut more than any other. It's easier than traditional battleship grey, and remains flat, never curling like unmounted battleship lino. Easy to clean. Excellent crisp prints, and just so easy to use. I hate "easy carve" type lino because I find that my lines get distorted due to how soft those materials are. This is a nice middle of the road hardness/softness... and as far as not being able to transfer your designs to it, I guess since I draw mine directly onto the lino generally, I haven't had this problem. I use a prismacolor white colored pencil. I am sure there are other colors of transfer paper, possibly at a place like Joanns. Oh, and I did use white chalk on the back of the one design I printed out from my ipad, to transfer. I hope they never stop making this stuff because I never want to be stuck using the other stuff.

Not actual linoleum but I love it
This was the first material i used when i started block printing. I purchased it because of the large size and price for two pieces. After working with this and trying other linoleum materials i find it easier to cut through but it scratches easily because it's more of a soft vinyl. I've been coating it with thinned white acrylic paint so i can draw or transfer a design onto it. I find it difficult to do a transfer without this step. Carbon paper does not work well because of the slippery surface. I started using a white carbon pencil to draw directly on the block also and this works well because I can easily erase. It can bend out of shape if not stored flat after carving and sharpie marker makes it get gummy so you can't really use it like you can on real linoleum. EDIT: I've been using this almost exclusively for linocut prints and have purchased it 4 times since discovering it. It is very easy to carve compared to battleship linoleum which I find to be very hard on my hands. It holds lines well. I have not found it to be crumbly at all. I began linocut printing using this material and after trying the Hessian backed linoleum I prefer this material. It is super easy to wash the ink off of after printing. I just run it under water in the sink and use a small bit of soap to get the ink off. It does scratch easily as I discovered by accident when I tried to scrub acrylic paint off of it a bit too aggressively. I bought some white charcoal pencils to draw my designs onto the surface. So much easier to see your design. Dark pencil wasn't working for me. Product says Made in China. Seller continues to raise the price of the 2 pack but it's still cheaper and easier to get my hands on with Amazon Prime than buying dried out lino from my local hobby lobby for $8 for a small sheet.

Easy to cut-- shows details well
This linoleum is a little stiffer than most kinds but still super easy to carve and it's two toned so it's easy to see your work. Will definitely be buying again.

Watch my video. The product works great.
This product works exactly how it should. Anyone having trouble getting solid results is lacking something in their process. Transfering an image is insanely easy.. Draw your design on paper with a pencil and rub the paper face down on the lino from the backside. BAM, image transfer and it'll be backwards for proper printing. This lino is THIN. Being aware of that, don't gouge too deep.. its simple. If your tools are dull, you will NOT get a clean cut.. on any surface. Sharpen your tools. The video I uploaded shows my entire process for proof. Don't listen to these naysayers, learn your craft. This is a solid product.

Too glossy and thin.
Itโs kind of hard to use this. The material is quite thin, and the sides are both very glossy, which is an ideal for stamps.

Great quality
Worked great for carving and was tough enough to properly etch small details in, takes practice to use.
