This is a really handy tool and worked out of the box as advertised. For the price point you couldn't get better. The hole punch was really clean and handled 1mm sheet no bother.

If you have ever one any bodywork on a car and needed to join two pieces of metal together then you will really appreciate how good this tool is and how it makes your task effortless and so much more precise. Not only does it punch holes for you, but it also creates flanges for you in the sheet metal to give you a real sturdy lip on the edge of the metal for a more seamless join.This is a Pneumatic tool, which means it uses compressed air to provide the power you need to get the required holes punched through. So basically it relies on a built in small air compressor to get the job done, and if you haven't used a Pneumatic tool before then it takes a bit of getting used to before you get good at using it, so it's always best to get a thin piece of spare metal sheet that you can practice on before you end up ruining the actual bodywork or material you are working on.This punches out holes that are 5mm in diameter and the power the compressed air generates is vey impressive on this as the holes seem very clean and precise, and it doesn't leave dents in the material around the holes which some cheaper tools tend to do.When it comes to build quality, this is very well built with a really solid construction, which give this a fair bit of weight too. It comes with a anti-slip rubber grip which makes it quite safe to use even with one hand.The only negative I' can think of with this is that if you try any metal thicker than 5mm then the performance tends to be a bit hit and miss and you can end up ruining the metal around the hole, so don't even try anything thicker than 5mm otherwise you will be disappointed and it may be a very costly mistake.Overall this is an excellent tool as long as you stick with materials that are within the parameters of what this is capable of handling, and being a 2-in-1 tool for punching holes and flanging, I found it to be excellent at both functions and well worth the price tag.

Smashing tool worked straight out of box

While not a tool I use a lot it's handy to have availabile as a DIY restorer of older vehicles.This has found a lot of use with replacement panel work for older cars that need to be riveted in place in making the holes rather than sitting and drilling everything for hours on end with larger panels.I didn't use the included fitting for the air line as I use the euro type on my setup but otherwise th tool works well and is quite consistent.Instructions were near non existent but I've used tools like this before so found no issues personally.Works well, simple and effective which is what this kinda tool really should be.

The GEARCELL Air Punch Flange Tool arrived neatly packaged in a plain cardboard box.In the box you get the tool itself, a quick release air coupling and an Allen key.The tool is a 2 in 1 design and can not only punch holes but can perform a flanging function for easy butt joints of sheet materials.Flanging size is 12mm and the hole punch is 5mm - ideal for anyone working on car body panels.Air requirement is 90-120psi at 4cfm so the tool can be used with most domestic compressors.The tool is nicely finished with a powder coating and rubberised grip area.Good price for a handy air tool!

This ia nice bit of kit for the money, works really well, especially the punch function.Nice size and simple to operate.Excellent value.

The media could not be loaded. I'm very pleased with this air hole punch and flanger. It works efficiently and quietly, as you will see from my video. The flanger only works effectively on thinner metal and neither the flanger or hole punch will work on spring steel. I have demonstrated the hole punch on a roof timber hanger to show the holes cut.After making the hole, there is no rough edge or protruding metal, which makes the material safe to handle after. If I tried to hole puch or flange metals that are too hard or thick, there is no damage to the tool, it simply does not cut or bend the metal.Providing you have a decent air compressor, this is a well made and efficient tool for metal fabrication and repairs. It's heavy, well built and comes with an exploded diagram of all the parts. Ideal for garage work, small metal fabrication workers and hobbyists constructing with thing metals.
