Has anyone else had the glass coffee pot crack? We are on our second one in less than 2 months! Never had this issue with other coffee pots

The pouring spout on my "original" one chipped off when I hit the sink. I replaced it with one this one from Amazon that lasted almost 2 years. It never cracked but I kept "twisting" the top off it to put the pot in the dishwasher. So, I broke one of the nubs off the top connector to the handle. I then bought another one from Amazon and it has no issue for the last year. I am more gentle with it these days when I take the top off.

I need a lid, the black plastic piece that attache to the pot snapped off. Can I buy just the black lid ?

The black lid is made to come off for cleaning. Have you tried just putting it back in place with your thumb? Or, you can search for Technivorm replacement parts. Yes, you can buy a new one on amazon.

Picture shows 5.9" heigh, is that correct? I measured the original at 5.375".

I have bought a couple of times for my Technivorm (Mocamaster), which are manufactured in the Netherlands. This is my unit's replacement for the carafe. Mine measure 51/2 (or 5.5) inches.
