To me down is the real definition of luxury. It's warmth and comfort can't be beat and this comforter is no exception. Soft and cozy pockets. It arrives compressed so it would be a good idea to take it the laundromat for a wash and dry. Use their super sized machines and be sure to add washer balls or tennis balls to the dryer for maximum puffiness.This comforter is truly cozy and the down appears to be evenly spread. If you are not familiar with down. All down comforters will begin to leak feathers and down after time. So it would be a good idea to get a duvet. This is also the recommendation of the vendor. (hence the product name "duvet insert").

This comes in a tiny package and is vacuum sealed. I had low expectations when I saw that. It surprisingly impressed me. Its a good light to mid weight and whats great is that it has the places to tie the duvet cover into place. It stores well for a guest comforter. To me it doesnt have the poof or weight id want for my everyday duvet which is why I say its good for guests.

The quality of this is impressive.Natural fabric, and feather filling!!!It’s soft but dense and firm at the same time. And has def melts me warm.I love how it has tags to tie the duvet cover on on the inside on not only the edges but the middle of the top and bottom too so it’ll really keep the duvet in place.And the quality!! Is actually impressive!!! Amazing!!!

The shell has a crunchy sound to it, which might bother some people. It's crisp. I don't mind it so much, but with sleeping with this last night, I felt like the stiffness of the shell didn't allow the comforter to envelop me as much as I would have liked. It was cold last night, too. So, I took my main comforter and put it on top of this, to weigh it down. Of course, putting in a duvet cover would sure help with that. It's good comforter, and you can see, it really is down and feathers in there. Yes, I took one for the team and opened up a baffle.

It is a comforter supposed to be 100% down but it does not look or feel like it is.

I wanted this for my guestroom. I have a heavy comforter in there for cold weather, but here in Georgia it's rarely very cold. This is light enough for summer, but will also be appropriate in cooler weather. It seems breathable and of good quality. It was very compressed from shipping, but I spread it out and it was fine the next day. I just need to get a cover for it, and I'll be set.

I was looking for a new down comforter as the winter months approach because my lake house can get quite cold. This came packaged in a small box, but once opened the comforter inflated some (it was vacuum packed) and was true to size (full). It is bright snow white and very toasty warm. Bring on the cold!!!

It seemed to take forever to arrive, however the most impressive thing about it is, it's ODOR FREE!! I've had mixed down/feather in the past and couldn't sleep with the smell, so this was taking a chance and I'm glad I did. it comes compressed so you need to shake it out and fluff it up and give it time to get air layers in between the down/feathers. In fluffing mine, I was surprised to feel more down than feathers, unlike what the description states, but that made me happy as I didn't feel any pointy feathers and the cover is a tight weave cotton where the feathers are not popping through. I'm going to put in inside a duvet once I've got it to the fluff I want. This is a medium weight comforter.
