Gorilla93003 Heavy-Duty 2Pk 1.25" X16' Sliding Ratchet Strap with Gorilla-Grip Handle & Cap Locks

I didn't know Gorilla made ratchet straps. U had to check these out. Basically they are ratchet straps with the ratchet system being able to slide back n forth a little bit. They are nice straps that will last a long time. I don't really have much to say about the sliding ratchets. But it seems like Gorilla products are expanding past glue & tape. I'd say these are worth a try.

Made in China for Erickson MFG who are licensing the "Gorilla" name. Comes in a very nice reusable box. It's hard to review something that I can't use over and over for years first, but I feel these will last. I'll update this if that changes. My one concern is value -- there are other "brand name" ratcheting tie-downs, probably also made in China, for less cost. I'm not sure if Erickson's proprietary "cap lock hook" is worth the extra. I can see where the "sliding ratchet", might be a bit of a time saver sometimes thoughThe product itself is labeled "medium duty" and the listing says "heavy duty", though this is mostly symantics -- this is good for pick-up truck loads, etc, not for flat-bed or commericial use which needs more than 1000lb working load limit.Overall, a nice product.
