Power in my hands
Ratchet loppers need leverage to do bigger Jobs. These cut through thick limbs as thick as the jaws allow. Their long handles make for a powerful cutting force. The steel is high quality to last long between sharpening a. By the way, they are easy to sharpen with a diamond wand and some honing oil.

Excellent lopper
Top notch , solidly built, ratchet drive anvil lopper. This will cut 1” hard wood branches with ease. This tool will go above and beyond the call of duty. Well built like any fiskars product.

Limb Cut ting made easy
Cuts as described very easily cuts Brush and limbs 2” and below

Fiskars is the best
This thing is a beast. Easily cuts through any branch that fits in the jaws. Slow as you must use multiple open/close motions to cut through branches ( although force is much less than standard lopper). My fiskars standard lopper can’t cut through branches as large as this unit. Actual cut size branch diameter is 2”. Next step up would be chainsaw. One season of trimming and no issues. Worth the money.

Excellent Leverage!
Excellent leverage with the ratchet! No better pruner than this, especially for larger sized branches.

Buy the 15-inch Fiskars loppers instead
These didn't work. Not at all. I couldn't even cut branches that I can usually cut with hand shears. The blade doesn't even make contact with the anvil surface, so cutting would not be complete even if I had been able to cut anything at all. I finished the entire job by using my old Fiskars 15-inch loppers instead and returned this useless non-functioning device to Amazon. I DO RECOMMEND the Fiskars 15-inch loppers for branches (even oak) up to one inch in diameter. This particular item was a complete failure, as well as being unnecessarily heavy and awkward to use.

This is a fantastic tool. I have used this tool many times in the past and if one knows how to use it properly, cutting will be an easy enjoyable work to do. it is in the way the mechanism is designed that even a two inches diameter is an easy cut. I recommend this tool to anyone interested to try for themselves.
