Perfect Teapot!
Love, love, love this teapot! It's sleek and looks great in my kitchen. The whistle is perfect, loud enough but not annoying. The handle is easy to open and pour without feeling the heat or steam. One of my favorite recent purchases.

Beautiful but heavy
Very nice. Attractive. Not a bright gold though more of a deep gold -handles cool. Big pot but very heavy not for an elderly person or arthritic hands. Easy to clean. Heats up quick. Lid closure good. There was no rust but I did clean good first because there was a bit of black residue inside

Soft whistle
Nice looking. Heats quickly but the whistle is soft. I’ve tried different water levels and it just won’t whistle louder than a whisper. Handle get warm but not so much that it can’t be touched. But hotter than I expected.

Beautiful and Quiet
I'm loving this tea kettle so far. Not only is it gorgeous, but it's large and works super well. I had purchased another kettle earlier this year that was cheap and very thin metal, it made horrible sounds while boiling water. This one is nice and quiet. It does whistle, but it's a very low sounding whistle, which is great, no more annoying, high pitched squeal. This one is a winner.

Not too hot , but heavy when full
It is fine , does not require hot pad . When the kettle is full it is quite heavy and the whistle tone is pretty low . I have to keep an eye on it . It's is very cute and I love it !

Peels inside after using
The inside of the pot peels after about 2 weeks if use.

As tea kettles go this one is very beautiful to have in our kitchen. Works great and has a very sturdy, lovely handle! Super happy with it!
